Citizens Bank Park just confirmed they have no Pearl Jam concert scheduled this year. That's one theory out the window.
Where exactly did they post this?

They didn't. I emailed the premium sales office asking about renting a suite for Pearl Jam and they confirmed there is no PJ show there this year.

OK, so they would rent our a suite before anything was officially announced?  Surprising.

I'm sure I am in the minority, but I'm looking forward to the relative surprise. I know I'll be kicking myself when hotel prices explode as we all rush to book hotels at the same time, but it's kind of fun to still have anticipation.

That said, already looking at lodging for CHI and IND.
Hoping the Chicago dates are true. Already booked hotels.
What are the suspected dates for these shows?

Philly means something. If not MIA...what? No Citizens Bank Park. An arena stop doesn't make sense, at least in September.

Is there another run of shows later in the year?

Why would an arena show in September not make sense?  The weather?  There were Philly arena shows in October.  However, to counterpoint my own point, it snowed on Halloween 2013 and was below freezing with snow on the ground until April/May.

How do we know it still won't be the Bank with the Phillies being out of town?  Wouldn't it be company policy to deny any shows until they're officially announced?  They would get in trouble or maybe even fired for revealing things they shouldn't.
