Speculation & wishlists is right there in the header, bud. I make no promises for tour dates (save that one time with Sonic Temple - that was either expert trolling from Danny Wimmer's team, or pure coincidence).

This thread is a companion to the rumor thread. Rumors & good fun over there. Dare I say breaking news?

    My goal here is two-fold:
    - mostly, to help people plan ahead using past data & current availability. Or, at the very least, armchair book a tour leg, or two.

    - on the off-chance team PJ is reading the forums & are gauging interest in certain cities ("wishlist").

    Thank you for participating.

Unintended (and intended) comedy at it's finest.

Could be an interesting Fall though. Stay tuned folks.

“Plan ahead using past data” meaning they will not be touring this year based on past tour history. Ed’s family don’t want him gone 2 years in a row. Jeff and Mike are writing scores like they are going out of style. Matt and Stone are each in like 8 bands. No tour in 2023, mark it Dude

No worries. I'll admit, there's a very good chance they don't tour this year. Maybe to finish the record. Maybe because 2022 was rough for them.

BUT... chatter has picked up. More than one board member has posted hearing about September dates. More than one has posted about negotiations for Fenway. At least 2 different members posted about "no Wrigley, but definitely Chicago."

And that was before the recent uptick in talk about Ampitheatres/sheds.

So, while I don't see a full blown tour (that's next year), I see several indicators that line up with how the band operated in 2008.

At that point, they were still demo'ing Backspacer. But they decided to do a quick summer run of shows. A run that was sandwiched between Ed's first major solo tour (spring & fall).

The reason why I bring this up, and why I also keep tabs on Josh, A. Watt, Glen, and Chad Smith, is because I've heard from a very credible source, that there will be a small Earthlings run this year as well.

And Andrew Watt just happens to be the guy producing the band's new record. So either they're close to being done, or they will be after they hit the road again to keep the juices flowin'.

You do make a valid point about Ed's fam not being huge fans of him being on the road. Love Jill, because she has no problem sharing that sentiment. But she also knows what he means to us, and the world at large. I think all the Vedders do.

Stone has always made things work with his side projects, and so has Matt.

So, I'm optimistic for a few dates this year, but I'll also understand if there's not.

    Mahalo.

I started this thread using the 2016 tour as a template. Moderate amount of dates, plus ballparks.
But what if the band was on an earlier, familiar path?
    Welcome back to 2008.

Pearl Jam has announced a ten date East Coast tour, which begins June 11th in West Palm Beach, FL and wraps up June 30th in Mansfield, MA..

A Ten Club pre-sale for eligible members will begin on Monday, March 24th at 9am PDT.  You must be an active member of the Ten Club by Wednesday, March 19, 2008 to qualify for the pre-sale ticket opportunity. We will stagger ticket sales to control web traffic, so please pay attention to the corresponding pre-sale dates and times. Pre-sale tickets are first come first serve, while supplies last. Pre-sales for any available tickets will remain open until Friday, March 28th at 5pm PDT.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale through Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets. Public on-sale information will be posted on pearljam.com in the near future.

Ten Club tickets will be available online only at www.tenclub.net/goods with a Visa or Mastercard as the only acceptable form of payment. No phone, mail or email orders. Two tickets per show/per member will be allowed. No single tickets are sold through the Ten Club. The base ticket price will vary per show, plus additional venue and handling fees.

Tickets will be allocated by seniority within the Ten Club, meaning the longer you have been an active member, the closer your seats will be to the stage. However, for this tour, we are implementing a slight change - rows 1-2 and rows 9-10 will now be RANDOM distribution. This means regardless of your member number you will have a chance of occupying seats within those random rows. We thank all of our diligent, loyal fans for accepting this change gracefully. Please share the love.

Everything else is the same.  Tickets will be distributed on the day of the show at the box office of the venue. The fan club member, not the cardholder, must be present to collect the tickets. No exceptions. All sales are final. NO refunds. NO exchanges. NO transfers. Reselling of Ten Club tickets will result in revocation of all future ticket privileges and suspension of your Ten Club membership.

Click here http://tenclub.net/tenclub/tickets.php for information on the official rules, policies, and procedures for purchasing tickets from the Ten Club. We highly recommend that you read these details before purchasing tickets to a show so you are aware of how the ticketing system will work for you!

The opening act for dates June 11-17 will be Kings of Leon. Opening act for dates June 19-30 will be Ted Leo and The Pharmacists.

All dates and times are subject to change.

No, MSG is not happening again within the span of a year, lol. But I can see them hitting Brooklyn (Barclays Center is ASM Global), or the Bronx (I know some of you are rolling your eyes at Yankee Stadium, BUT they DID have a PJ day last year!)
Camden already got some love last year, too. But based on the chatter from the rumor thread, you can start piecing together what might be a potential tour.

Just read through about 10 pages of this thread and learned so much...nothing about Pearl Jam tour dates though.

    ^
This, folks, is the correct take in my opinion. Most likely.

I think Fenway would eliminate Hartford, Chicago would eliminate East Troy, and Ohana might end the run.

Heading out for a bit, but tell me what y'all think of this potential run?
Will post later to add logistics :)

I think Fenway would eliminate Hartford, Chicago would eliminate East Troy, and Ohana might end the run.
    Totally fair assessment.
