Looks like a Bruce Willis pose from a Die Hard DVD cover.

Haha! You’re totally right. Love the Die Hard 4.0 title. Is that European title?

    Was this good?
I enjoyed it. Aubrey Plaza was great! It’s just a  small, 90 min movie. Tight plot.

I watched 2 movies in the past week:

    Cabin in the Woods

    Old

I liked both of them.  Neither was a tightly wound masterpiece or anything, but both movies provided something different and food for thought.

Yeah, this is a favorite of mine. You are right about the music. Fox and Cruise are great. Jason Statham is in it for about 60 seconds!

Yeah, that coyote crosses the road, and Vincent I think identifies a little too readily with that animal who is not much more than a scavenger. Great scene when Foxx’s Max calls him on his emptiness and lack of emotional intelligence.

Not a fan of the digital format.

Loved it in the cinema. The nightclub scene. The ending. Tom Cruise is great.

Startwd watching this and shut it off after first scene. Not digging that. Sure it could have gotten less shocking.

I actually kind of do consider Cabin in the Woods to be a masterpiece, in its own way!

Would need licenses to real horror characters/creatures to be a masterpiece. And not all the off-brand "we have Hellriaser at home" stuff they put in it.

Also, showing at once that it is a meta comment or whatever (if I remember my theatre showing correctly) felt off.

Finally watched the film that has the Swedish title "Decision with no possibility of turning back"

The Rock on an airplane. I think it was very well executed and holds up.

An underrated movie. Director was an editor on a long list of classic action movies, including Demolition Man, with Snipes. Love the supporting cast in this one for the special ops team: Joe Morton, B. D. Wong, and Oliver Platt. And Kurt Russel!

    That Swedish title is awesome.
