Loved Sudden Death when I saw it in the theater.
  • I find it surprising that the film under-performed at the BO.

Think I'm gonna follow it up with:

Another great one! No spoilers to anyone but   college me nearly fell out of my seat 20 minutes into the movie. Love me some Kurt Russel.

I thought this was beautifully made, even if we were in tears by the end of it.

Ugh. I get the feeling this is kind of a cult classic, at least for Cronenberg fans? Well I thought it pretty much sucked. Good concept, but it is boring.

Agreed. Amazing cast... Julia Louis Dreyfus and Eddie Murphy were especially good in fact. But it's a dumb movie.

Felt kind of cheap, and average. Not that many steps removed from being a shameless Child's Play rip off And not bloody or scary. And everything felt very fabricated and artificial. You could tell the scriptwriters and filmmakers didn't take into account actually making it set in a believable world. I prefer horror set in our actual world - whether that means The Exorcist, Amityville Horror or Friday the 13th. Even with a crazy AI doll.

But I was not bored by it.

Wish I would have seen the Old boy-director's new film instead.
