This is going to be fun! :D ...but let's get back to topic..
Ben Harper or Chris Cornell would make my day!
MMJ and I kill someone...most likely the singer...or myself!
  • I'm worried it's gunna be MCR just because every horrid place is taking them as some sort of God! (See DownloadFestival.co.uk for proof)

But personally, any band would be nice from my point of view. But if I had to choose - Blind Melon FTW. :)

Slightly off-topic, but who supported PJ at Wembley in 2000 ? I can't remember so they obviously made a great impression...
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

I think Ben Harper was excellent when I went to see the Chili Peppers - although the support to him "!!!" (pron tk tk tk or something) got bottles thrown at them! Wouldn't surprise me seeing him there.
    :D Rock on!!!! :D
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.

The best support act i ever saw was Janes Addiction supporting Fields of the Nephilim at Brixton Academy in 1988. Now that was special!

The Vandals supported on all the UK shows I think.

When they announced those shows Chris Cornell was touted for support as it was around the time of his first solo album but it obviously never happened.....so maybe this time.

    London - 18/6/2007

My best support experience was Biffy Clyro opening for Weezer at Glasgow Barrowlands in 2002.

Twas the introduction to my 2nd favourite band after PJ and I've seen hem 18 times since :)

No it was the Monkeywrench, who feature Mark Arm and maybe one of the other guys from Mudhoney. They were alright, kind of like Mudhoney without the decent tunes ;)

    Amazingly I'm not. :p

I'm just some random teenager from London who happens to have the same name! ;)

    you alright Dunk?

    this is confusing!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I think Incubus is fabulous anywhere! I've seen them in a small club and a festival, both were amazing.
I wish I were the verb "to trust" and never let you down
  • has anyone ever heard tarantula a.d. That and paddy cassey i get to see the worst support, everyone else got wolfmother, right.

Paddy Casey was utterly awful. I hated the way he made a point of stressing that he usually plays his own shows at The Point........like anyone gave a flying f**k!
