love oceansize, effloresce is on eof my favourite all time albums. and also....
As of Feb 2007, the band are writing their as yet untitled third album. Vennart posted an MP3 of a slow-moving recently recorded jam called 'Scribble Pad (Guide Dog)' on on Oceansize official message board on 3rd Feb 2007 1. It is unlikely that this work will appear anywhere, but was used solely as an appetizer for eager fans.
Cool....it's good to know they're back to work then. It's been well over 3 years since they wrote the stuff for Everyone Into Position
Biffy Clyro would be excellent.....though their best live days are long since behind them , they still continue to impress me everytime I've seen them, which is now 18 in total
A democracy on paper, apparently well ordered, regularly subverted by irrational chaos.

A nice little acoustic set for half an hour or so then they can nip off for a few smokes and a bit wine and chill then come back on and bangggggggggggg

'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

Yeah they are. They got axed from Sony cos they HifH wanted the guy who produced the first album to do the second and the label wanted someone else to do it. So they're now with a smaller label.
The second album, Transmit Disrupt, was also great. Took a while for it to grow on me but I think it's better than Neon Handshake now. I believe they have a third album out early this year.
It's a joke. Someone in that forum wanted to have some fun.

I could go for that. I still need to see them live since I started to like them.
Yeah their first album wasn't bad. Think it's still on my shelf somewhere.
