Thank you! I saw this but was not sure what was released on Vinyl. I can do some digging, but it looks like I am missing:

    Great Western Forum (Vault 6)
    Soldier Field (Vault 7)
    Missoula (Vault 8)
    Seattle (Vault 9)
    Moline (Vault 10)

Correct? Apparently, I have been slacking! Let the hunt begin, I guess!

At this point all but 11 have been released on vinyl. I had never bought any of them and got them all in the last year. All very attainable, except 3, that was a PITA and $$$.

Pretty much just the limited copies. And not the least because it’s the oldest. They didn’t do a presale, it just popped up in the shop and sold out in a couple days i think. Probably had no idea what the demand for the vault vinyl would be.I don’t know if they’ve ever released how many were made, but it has to be much less than the rest were ever pressed to begin with.

I would guess Vault 1 had the least copies available as that pre order window was up only for a few days? When Vault 3 vinyl pre order was available for many months.

No, the poster isn't wrong.  I think Vault 1 had a finite supply.  Unlike all the other vault's, I think the 10c had already put in the order to have them pressed, so they sold out pretty quick (rather than a preorder being up for months).

That being said vinyl popularity would of increased a lot over the last 10 years.  Vault 3 might also have low numbers because vinyl has been growing in popularity for the last 14ish years?   So the amount of people that wanted a #3, is probably way less than people who wanted the most recent one.  Ergo Vault 3 is probably limited only due to how vinyl was less popular at the time.

That would be interesting.  V3 was made to order and I still don't think a lot are out there wheras V1 was most likely a minimum order of say 5000, I'm guessing on the numbers.

Vault 10 vinyl & the new Moline 2014 bootleg that is on sale now was remixed by Josh Evans. On the CD you will see his name on the back cover. The original Moline CD & digital download release back in 2014 was not remixed by Josh Evans.

5000 does sound like a big number but 10club could sell that many Vault vinyl units in a few days.

(Stupid iPad, I can’t edit out of the quote dialog)

it’s gotta be way more than Benaroya, but not like a crazy amount more. I think 5000-7000 seem like a reasonable number.

Though given the discogs prices, I think you could argue vault 3 may have the lowest pressing numbers given the secondary market prices. When it went up, the demand/desire for these was an unknown quantity. By Vault 1, 10c had a general idea what these things were moving, and I assume, ordered based on the median demand.

yah, I'm guessing demand for the vaults was less when vault 3 came out, than whatever calculation 10c ran for how many #1's to press.   They probably based #1 on how much the last few vaults had sold, opposed how they were selling 10 years ago.

Vault 3 was definitely up for a while but that was 2013 I think and vinyl wasn't quite as popular so you have to think it was the smallest pressing. I'm almost certain that was one I had more than 1 copy of once upon a time, probably best not to think too much about that now. It did seem like they under estimated on Vault 1 when it sold out in a few days so I think that seems like another low one. It felt a little like they just got a bunch pressed to appease those wanting it. It was the only one done that way. The first few seem to have a set preorder period which seems to have gradually got longer over time. Occasionally I've seen them  put extras back on sale.

I really need a good way to store these.  I know that there have been some posts about potential storage options but it would be great to find a way to both store and protect my vault collection.

If I remember right, V3 wasn’t a preorder. They just pressed and sold. No one knew it was coming. No one knew what the demand would be. I don’t remember it being up for months, but maybe it was.
But I’d still bet far fewer were ever pressed than any other. Even given the short window for V1, where everyone was expecting a vault soon, waiting for drops on the 10th, etc. people had been waiting for that one for 7 or 8 years and jumped on it.
