The media- including the so-called "liberal media" keeps calling the searching of Mar-A-Lago a "raid". It wasn't a raid. It was legally searched by warrant (the only commentator who seems to get this is Heather Cox Richardson). Calling it a "raid" is feeding the anger of the Cult-45. Not a very bright move.

it’s not like these guys were elite soldiers either and they didn’t have aircraft or tanks.
we aren’t that great at urban warfare fighting non traditional forces if we aren’t carpet bombing. I think the government will be even more concerned about civilian casualties here
weather it happens or not I think we shouldn’t overestimate the government’s ability to respond to an asymmetric threat. Taking over the country probably isn’t the goal. Chaos and retribution is . Either one of a few things this better be: top secret documents that show he clearly put Americans in danger or proof beyond doubt he committed serious crimes regarding Jan six. Anything falling short may have just given the Rs fuel to get trump back in good graces with swing state voters. And it fits right in with his “deep state” narrative unless they have proof very soon their actions were justified.
And it better be quick. The more this gets delayed the more outrage the right will generate. This all should have been anticipated before the raid, and they better have hundreds of agents going over the docs 24/7, and disclose they are in possession of overwhelming proof of serious crimes to be made public soon. This is the type of thing you don’t do to a former president unless you are about to indict for treason.
And if it’s not a clear cut obvious and dangerous crime, this could be a huge mistake by garland. It’s not like they just raided Stone Gossards home.

my concern is that localised problem in multiple locations. I think you are coming at it from a overthrow the government perspective in a traditional sense.
