Yeah, sis is doing okay, shes getting used to the trips to hospital...bub is going as good as can be expected, still on the ventilator, have been trying to get him off it as they can become dependant on it...
anyway, his lungs werent looking good the other day, he only managed about ten minutes of breathing on his own, so they have put him on steroids to strengthen them up...only drawback is that there is a risk of braindamage from the medication....
So, its kind of like two steps forward one step back...but hes reached 1kg now so that was great for the little one
Im on call as we speak to be at my half sisters birth, shes only 18 an is a single mum....so, im pretty excited, I get to see a birth from a different perspective...
How are you in Dwelli?? Have you sorted things out with hubbys flights?

Awwwwww...it WILL be 2 steps forward and 1 step back for a while, hun.....always is with premmies. The fact that he's already hit 1kg is AWESOME news!!!!!!!!! Bless
Yeah....same ol' same ol' here in Dwelli.....freezing my titties off, but the sun's out so that's a good thing.
Ummmm....Glenn's flight for next Friday is booked, but means nothing until he's actually on the plane. If this industrial action hasn't finished by then, he won't be :(
It's fucked.....besides the fact the kids and I desperately want him here, it's his Dad's big 70th birthday bash on Saturday and Glenn, being the only son (he has 3 older sisters) is s'posed to be making speeches etc;. It's a pretty special celebration, too, cuz his Dad has been battling Leukemia and is doing really well at the moment. If Glenn's not there it's gonna really suck!!
Jane McGrath, wife of former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath, has died after a long battle with breast cancer, Cricket Australia announced.
"It is with deep sadness that the family and friends of Jane McGrath, beloved wife of former Australian cricketer Glenn and loving mother of James and Holly, must announce she passed away at her home (Sunday) morning," a Cricket Australia statement said.
"With Glenn and their two children by her side, Jane's wonderful life ended peacefully after a sudden decline in her health over the past week."
McGrath, 42, had surgery earlier this year and was recovering before complications set in, the statement added.
"Jane McGrath has left a lasting legacy through the McGrath Foundation, an organisation that is providing thousands of women hope - and support - in their fight against breast cancer," the statement said.
"The McGrath Family have requested their privacy be respected at this very difficult time."

Yeah, its bloody hard being without your hubby/kids without their Dad for weeks on end, Kaine used to work away and just the couple of weeks he was gone was shit...but I think I remember you saying a few days ago that it had been ages since he'd been home...ive got my fingers crossed that theres no more industrial action until he is in mid-flight home ...im sure he will make an awesome speech at his Dads birthday, keep your chin up!
Its not too bad weather in Donnybrook, pretty windy, but its getting the washing dry....
How about them Eagles, eh??
