Gutted. What makes me worried is the lack of afford to make it up to ticket holders. Why not reschedule? Why not at least say „We‘ll be back“?
We were holding onto these tickets for 2 years, I was worried about the show more than one time due to effing COVID. And know we made it through this s**t and are almost there and all we get is „deeply sorry, cancelled, refunds available“?0

And they didn’t consult you? Weird.DL136722 said:
They've had two yrs to prepare, they're a veteran band. Does it seem odd to me that EV squeezed in a solo tour before a PJ tour? Yes. Do I think it helped his voice, no. Personally at this stage of their careers, no extra stress is a good thing but agree to disagreePeArLgOoNeR said:
You come off as extremely judgemental..DL136722 said:They haven't toured in 2 full yrs other than Ed squeezing in a solo tourThis show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

Regarding the EV Eathlings tour, having seen 7 of the shows, those were amongst the best concert experience I have ever seen and there should be no regret about that tour.0

            If a bunch of dudes who work an 8 hr day then can play as a PJ cover band for 2 hrs can handle it, I think a bunch of pros can be just fine not working a full 8hr day and just play 2.25hrs should be just fine!Tweeter Center - Aug 29, 2000;Tweeter Center - Aug 30, 2000;Allstate Arena - Oct 09, 2000;Pepsi Arena - Apr 29, 2003;Bryce-Jordan Center - May 03, 2003;Bell Center - Jun 29, 2003;Tweeter Center - Jul 02, 2003;Tweeter Center - Jul 03, 2003;Tweeter Center - Jul 11, 2003;Tweeter Center at the Waterfront - Jul 05, 2003;Tweeter Center at the Waterfront - Jul 06, 2003;Madison Square Garden - Jul 08, 2003;Madison Square Garden - Jul 09, 2003;TD Banknorth Garden - May 24, 2006;TD Banknorth Garden - May 25, 2006;Fleet Center - Sept 28, 2004;Fleet Center - Sept 29, 2004;Pepsi Arena - May 12, 2006 New England Dodge Music Arena - May 13, 2006;Grant Park - Aug 05, 2007;Bonnaroo - Jun 14, 2008;Dodge Music Center - Jun 27, 2008;Tweeter Center - Jun 28, 2008;Tweeter Center - Jun 30, 2008; XL Arena - May 15, 2010;TD Garden - May 17, 2010;Alpine Valley Music Theatre - Sept 03, 2011;Alpine Valley Music Theatre - Sep 04, 2011 Corel Centre - Sep 16, 2005;Colisee Pepsi Arena - Sep 20, 2005; Wrigley Field - July 19, 2013; DCU Center - Oct 15, 2013; DCU Center - Oct 16, 2013; Fenway Park - August 5, 2016; Fenway Park - August 7, 2016; NOS Alive Festival - July 14, 2018; Boston - September 02, 2018; Boston - September 04, 2018; Boston - September 15, 2024; Boston - September 17, 2024

Absolute garbage of a post. 2hrs 20mins might be short for pj but that's long for most parts. Andas for your comment about the band being disinterested, I don't know what shows you went to but the 3 shows I saw were killer. Jog on 🥱Pgmgwg12 said:Knew that was coming. Had a nice time in Vienna and guess I will spend a couple days in Prague. Here’s hoping but not counting on Amsterdam. Tour has been a complete shit show and will go down as their worst ever. Every tour something comes up with Eddie. I honestly think this tour will be their last. Short shows and some members of the band seem disinterested and going through the motions. Worse things than to spend a couple days in Prague and if Amsterdam happens will be pleased, if it doesn’t won’t be surprised at all.0

Ha, not talking about standards, talking about how "grueling" it is to be a professional touring band especially when they're 30yrs into it. It's like athletes who complain, both are living dream livesComeToTX said:

Do you see how much fucking energy the band put into EVERY single show ? And flying first class and not coach is a pathetic attempt to skew your argument.. ALL air travel affects people whether you’re the pilot or a fucking stowaway who’s latched onto one of the wheel landing assemblies..you’re just creating arguments like that other poster who I can’t be arsed naming..Dr or something..Ed’s throat is fucked, can’t sing and it’s as simple as that..DL136722 said:I guess I'm missing something because I don't understand when people say physical toll when describing a band that tours. They fly into a city via private jet, stay in a luxury hotel, eat well, sleep in if they choose to, go to sound check, work/play music for a couple of hours and repeat, how's is that physically grueling? If you're talking about the roadies then I get it but as for the actual musicians they're working less than the average person is per day, it's not they're working a 8-10 hr shift, I'm definitely missing somethingManchester 09, Hyde Park 10, Berlin 10, Manchester 1+2 2012, EV Manchester 2012, EV London 1+2 2012, Amsterdam 1+2 2014, Leeds 2014, Milton Keynes 2014, EV London 1+2 2017, EV Dublin 2017, London 2018, Milan 2018, Padova 2018, Rome 2018, Berlin 2018, EV Florence 2019, EV Barolo 2019, EV Madrid 2019, Berlin 2022, London 1+2 2022, Budapest 2022, Krakow 2022, Amsterdam 2022
