Watched this in the theater yesterday. A digital showing but it was NOT the ugly grainscrubbed version with the color changes from the 2017 re-relase. Some older master. Didn't look too sharp but did have grain and more natural colors.

I found this to be extremely fascinating and emotional, and it certainly gave me a brand new perspective on Val Kilmer, like holy shit. Well worth the watch.

I know he moved out to a ranch w his family to get away from everything so I am sure he touches upon that?
Yeah, that is shown, and what becomes of the property and stuff... but I would call that just about the least interesting part of the film!

I’m about an hour in. Extremely emotional? Hell yeah. I teared up at first (there but the grace of X go I) but man, what life he has! His outlook is quite inspiring — one I hope to possess if/when the time comes.

    The Suicide Squad (2021)

Completely insane, but still one of the better DCEU movies.

I watched I watched Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness on Disney+   It was good but I am sure it looked better on the big screen.

Last week I saw the new Jurassic World in 3D. Terrible plot, great special effects.

We watched Beavis and Butthead Do the Universe, and since we subscribed to Paramount Plus just for that, we decided to watch Jackass Forever while we had it.

Loved Beavis and Butthead. Kind of a rehash of the first movie but that's okay. Not looking to invent the wheel here. Just looking for laughs. The scene of Beavis talking to Siri on the phone was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. I also loved the scene where they crash a gender studies class and learn they have white privilege .

Jackass? Ugh. Same as it ever was. Some laughs, some cringes, some eyerolls, some thoughts of "When will this shit be over?", and way too much male nudity...as usual. And also, way too many shots to the balls...as usual.
