I still don’t understand what the first Top Gun is about. The best I can do is major asshole guy flies a plane, major asshole guy stalks and fucks flight instructor, major asshole guy’s non-asshole friend dies while flying a plane, and major asshole guy is still a major asshole guy who flies a plane at the end.
This has got to be the funniest description I've ever heard about that film.

@HughFreakingDillon Take the wife to see it!

    How was that, Ponc?

I watched Dolores Claiborne yesterday. I just love Kathy Bates.
    That's a really good film!

Great vibrant Tony Scott colors and sweatiness though.
I can't wait to see this film  may be I'll treat myself on my birthday!

Yeah, not as good as the first two, but I didn't expect it to be. It was great to see Keanu Reeves in action.

I haven't seen the latest Matrix but am looking forward to it.  I loved the interview with Carrie Ann Moss, saying what it was like, working with him. He kept shaking his head!

That was titled "Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park" when it aired in the US. Remember watching it as a kid. Ace's voice was so badly dubbed as I recall.

    The World According to Garp

One of my all-time favorites. I feel like I lucked out finding it on HBO.

I found this to be extremely fascinating and emotional, and it certainly gave me a brand new perspective on Val Kilmer, like holy shit. Well worth the watch.

Yep. Made for TV. But got a theatrical release in some European countries with the "Attack of the Phantoms" name. In widescreen. And, with a couple of their 1978 soloalbum songs thrown on the soundtrack.

The Attack of the Phantoms cut is available in one of the Kissology DVD box sets.

I know he moved out to a ranch w his family to get away from everything so I am sure he touches upon that?
