I don’t care about a poster (I say this now) but just a tour shirt. Will this sell out easily and not avail right before show? I won’t be going at 1pm to merchstand.

My gut says you'll be fine. Shirts are nowhere near the commodity posters are.

    Slows things down for sure.
Yea maybe if it was 1980 and we were still capturing cc imprints on carbon copy receipts. 😂

With tap to pay & 5G networks, it’ll be a breeaze. Worked well for me at Ohana & EV solo show in LA.
Cashless will speed things up.  People trying on 5 different shirts because they don’t know their size will slow things down.

Ah, the joys of being fat. If I can't get at least a XXL, I don't bother.

Pay how the fuck you want, just fast. And know what you want before you  get there. Its not like you have been standing staring at the merch for 4 hours in the line beforehand

I think the concern with cards is that the machines can take time to process the cards, especially with a bunch being run at the same time. Cash is a quicker transaction.

(Also, some of us have decision anxiety. Sometimes also social anxiety, and are as embarrassed to be taking so long as you are irritated at us for taking too long. Personally, I have been better the past few tours - I don't really need any more t-shirts, so if nothing jumps out at me, I pass.)

2 spatulas for me please, plus the limited edition cutting board. Variant if they are still available by the time I get to the front of the line.

    Not if it’s done right.

Go to any subway that accepts contactless at the turnstile. That’s how a line that is cashless should work

tokens or cash are way slower.

Get the total and tap, you are eliminating counting money and making change. It should be faster

I agree.  I’ll never understand why they can’t get it together.  Last time I was in a merch line they had 2 credit card machines and about 20 people waiting to use it

Using Apple Pay at Ohana and the EV show was pretty simple. Click twice on the phone, put your code in and hover over the reader.

Not if the cashless line is Apple Pay.

Not everyone has Apple Pay. Some are paying with old-fashioned swipe/chip cards.
