The solo in At Least That's What You Said is the best Neil Young solo ever!
.
I'll never forget jamming this song for a friend of mine. I don't think he was listening to the begining then the solo kicks in and he looked at me kind of funny and said "hey which neil song is this"

There have been some fantastic setlists on this tour. I scored tickets for one of the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot shows in New York in April. Eagerly anticipating hearing that masterpiece in its entirety. Jeff has also mentioned a few times through his Starship Casual substack that Wilco is currently recording a new album now.

The Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 11LP boxset is a beast!
Wilco's legendary 4th studio album, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, was originally released on April 23, 2002. It delivers ten songs that have since become favorites among fans and critics alike. It scored a perfect 10 on Pitchfork, which hailed the album as “complex and dangerously catchy, lyrically sophisticated and provocative, noisy and somehow serene … simply a masterpiece.” And as the New York Times put it, Jeff Tweedy’s songs "unfold in richly enigmatic arrangements.”
This 11-LP / 1-CD Super Deluxe Edition of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot features the original ten songs remastered; plus 6 LPs of session outtakes, alternates, demos, drafts and instrumentals; a 1 CD WXRT radio interview and live performances from September 18, 2001; and a 3-LP live show from July 23, 2002 at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO. The vinyl is mastered by Bob Ludwig and cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering on SILVER vinyl. The package (designed by Lawrence Azzerad) includes an extensive booklet that includes a new essay by music journalist Bob Mehr featuring recent interviews with Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt and Glenn Kotche; a conversation with Jeff Tweedy, Glenn Kotche, Jim O’Rourke and producer Cheryl Pawelski; plus previously unseen live and studio photos.
Straight up. This YHF super deluxe set may be the best anniversary reissue box set ever. The only box that comes to mind that competes is the Wildflowers SDE.
Even the Beatles reissues with outtakes can’t compete IMO.

A Ghost is Born is my favorite record. I love the way Tweedy plays guitar. The solo in At Least That's What You Said is the best Neil Young solo ever!
Love SBS and can't wait for this next one.

Cann't believe I'm gonna own the demos on vinyl.
Cruel Country, best album since Sky Blue Sky. Saw them in Cedar Rapids last month, great show and the new stuff sounds fantastic live.
