I remember it different for 2016. I remember people winning MSG night 1 and night 2 to as first and second picks while others were shutout. Maybe I am wrong and that was Barclays in 2013 but pretty sure it was MSG.pjpitt89 said:I don't recall for 2020 but I know for previous tours, 2016 in particular, you could not win for both nights in same city. Camden, for being the only new East Coast show, didn’t seem like it was too tough a ticket to win. A quick check of Given to Fly and Lost Dogs and I only saw one ISO thread and that was someone seeking a GA ticket.Is demand way down for this tour?1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20

It has to be. On top of that though I definitely believe that 10C got a shit load of tickets too. The real tell will be after verified fan is done after a couple of hours on Tuesday and we see how many "bad" seats remain for some of these less popular cities.on2legs said:Camden, for being the only new East Coast show, didn’t seem like it was too tough a ticket to win. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the Fresno and Sacramento results have to do with the fact that they're newly announced shows with much larger blocks of tickets available? Is there an apples-to-apples comparison that demonstrates soft demand relative to some other location outside California? (I haven't read this whole thread, so I'm not asking this rhetorically.) Bear in mind that some of the demand for popular locations like New York or Las Vegas comes from people who don't live in those places, but prioritize them because they think those shows will be extra special and/or because they want to travel to those places. Fresno and Sacramento are not seen as destinations in the same way.JimmyV said:
No insult to California intended, but we have never before seen lottery results like we did yesterday. The demand was not like it is in other parts of the country.BF25394 said:
There are almost 40 million people in California, and they haven't played arena shows in California since 2013. (Pearl Jam played Bridge School in 2014 and Ohana in 2021.) That rule was definitely in effect in 2016. I'm pretty sure it was also in effect in 2013. There were two NYC shows on both of those tours (Brooklyn in '13 and MSG in '16) and I lost all. Also 2 Philly shows on both tours and I only won one night each tour. Husband won the same night as me in '16.brarble said:
If they are debating... best move would be to do away with the "no 2 nights in the same city policy" since it came out of nowhere and hasn't been the case in previous tours (and seems kind of arbitrary in the first place, who is that rule helping?).Go Animal said:Either they're on lunch, or they're debating this very topic between TM/10c, re: LA2. Hello,
I was wondering who sent the email with ticket confirmation. I have been waiting to hear back for the Fresno Show, and I saw a charge on my credit card. I haven't received an email. Thanks in advance for your response.

It was. It's not a new rule. From the 1.19.16 email about the lotterympedone said:I honestly thought the "only one show in a city" rule was in place in 2020, but it wasn't an issue for me, so I guess I'm just misremembering.

Did anyone else not get an email from ticketmaster? I know I submitted for Nashville but never received anything. I did get one for verified presale. Weird.

Camden being on a Wednesday night chased some people off. We never even considered it for that reason.___________________________________________

For Fresno to go at least to the 9th round is wild. This comes at a time too where your city is your priority and not GA or RES of that city making it even crazier.BF25394 said:

I think Fresno & Sacramento being on Monday and Wednesday nights have a factor in being in less demand as well."I got memories, I got shit"0

Just scored for Oakland 1. Was my second priority and I asked for 2 GA or 2 reserved. Guess won't know which I got for a bit?0
-
One show per city has varied. I got 10C tickets for both Fenway shows in 2018, for example. Could be ballparks vs. arenas/sheds.0

We moved on to Oakland and skipped LA2?___________________________________________

Maybe demand amongst fanclub members. I think the 10C getting a much higher percentage of tix than usual played into that as well. I'll be surprised if it's not mostly sold out once it's available to general public.on2legs said:Camden, for being the only new East Coast show, didn’t seem like it was too tough a ticket to win. This makes sense, I'm still amazed at the Fresno date. Geographically, going from Oakland to Fresno, to back up the state to Sac is kind of odd. And yeah, neither city is a huge destination draw. I won tickets to Sac and Fresno, not sure if GA or reserved yet, but stoked to have a mini tour in NorCal! I have a feeling Fresno is going to be a special one, fingers crossed.0
