He is including retirees in that number and honestly probably students as well. Don't know that it gets that high, but there are 46MM Americans receiving social security. The other thing that people aren't focusing on yet are the revised numbers for the last two months. Total job adds were 700k. Cincy, so every time there is a recession and jobs subsequently come back, the president doesn’t get credit?This was a specific strategy to do it differently than Obama did in 2009, then it took nearly forever for the jobs to come back. The 2021 strategy was to try to get them back much quicker, which is supported by the jobs report.Also, the economy has changed significantly since March 2020. Here in the northeast office buildings are nearly empty and the workers, mostly those under 40, never want to come back (same in California). All the feeder jobs, lunch spots, shoe shines, coffee on the train in, suits and biz casual clothing, could be impacted forever. To see the 2021 job growth considering these facts is actually stunning.0
