    I think of it more as a guilty pleasure. Depending on the people you grew up with, etc.  More in your developmental years through young adult. 

    Now in my late 40s, I hardly care what anyone else thinks, so I guess the answer is no, I am not embarrassed (as part of life’s maturation process) to be fans of a band or artist. 😎
    This is probably a better way to put it. Guilty pleasure. Though I will admit to turning the car radio down if I pull up to a light and have the windows down while rocking out to TS 😂

    Ok I have to admit I started this thread after a couple beers last week and was afraid to check back in, lol. But this is a fun discussion. I think some one else in this thread put it best. Guilty pleasures. But honestly at this point I like all kinds of music, genre doesn’t really matter any more. I got more excited this morning for another version of all to well than Ed’s new song.

    My friends make fun of me and my love for Matt&Kim though.  One of my buddies calls it Romper Room music, lol.  My GF can't stand when I listen to modern hiphop.  She despises Drake...
    My wife about shit when I played Action / Mayhem / Body concert video.  
    She also hates (hates) SoaD with a passion.

    Have to listen to this stuff in the car solo or in headphones.

    Thanks for starting the thread.  And I agree totally.  Taylor is the present and future and it’s fun to witness it.  What a song.  Her music is just fun.  It’s great to see people give the song props that it is owed.  It’s fun to be sucked into the world she creates. And it’s what I talked about earlier, rock is good and all, but to me the 2 and a half hour Taylor’s version of a 9 year old album is way more interesting and engaging to me than alot of the music this forum raves about.  It’s just fun as you say.   Nice to see a fellow fan.

    Not at all.  it was a message in general about them and the misconceived notion of what "bubble gum" is.

     That Barbie Girl song is bubble gum to me.

    I saw Action Bronson live during the White Bronco tour.  He killed.  Mayhem was great too.  Big Body is just a big body, lol.  He hung out smoking blunts and took pictures.  Not sure what he offers other than comic relief, lol!  They had a local kid Rocco Marciano that was good too.  Haven't seen his name in a bit though.

    People would argue that she had no talent and I said you're wrong.  She picks up a guitar and writes her own songs.  You wait and see.  She will be around for a while.

    I admit I like some late 60's early 70's AM pop. I have been stuck on Love You More Today Than Yesterday by the Spiral Starecase the last couple of days, searching out different versions on Youtube last night for way too long.

    My guilty pleasure lately has been Machine Gun Kelly's latest album "Tickets to my Downfall".  He pretty much made a pop punk Blink 182 album....Travis Barker produced it and plays drums on it.  Don't know anything about his rap albums but this one is really good.
