Seeing this reminded me to tell folks who haven't been yet about when to get settled at the main stage. When the tiki stage band ends at 6:00, all those people will mush over to the main stage. I recommend getting snuggled in before that because it gets real tight, real fast. With Ed solo last Saturday, I made the mistake of leaving my spot 10 min before the last tiki stage band ended. I was feeling pretty good about myself because I took a pee, bought two beers and a banana, and filled my water bottle in under 20 minutes. "oh shit" I thought as I headed back to my spot. I made it eventually but it was the most brutal return I've ever had. I appreciated the lock-down from the big guys that had been in their spot for 15 minutes, but they don't make it easy for the people who had been there 3 hours.

Was a printed copy of vaccine card sufficient for Ohana last weekend?
Yes, I just scanned a copy of mine, double-sided printout and that was sufficient at SHN and Ohana. At Ohana I got a bracelet that reflects you've passed screening.  If you go both days, you don't need to take the "screening bracelect" off. Just wear it and you shouldn't need to show proof of Vax again. At least that's how last week worked.
I copied and printed the front side only. Is the back side required?
Shouldn't be. I only printed front side for SHN and was fine.

They barely checked ours...maybe depends on which festival volunteer you get.  I'd say hardly anyone was wearing masks this past weekend too, which didn't feel great packed like sardines singing, screaming, jumping up and down.  Can't wait to do it again this weekend!
They also accept a picture of the vax card on your phone so you don’t need a paper printout. Was simple and it took 30 seconds for my wife and I.

Anyone else on the 9 am from JFK to LAX tomorrow and if so want to split an Uber to Dana? We are at Best Western Marina Shores (but that’s close to a few other hotels so can walk once local). I went last week and Uber prices were pretty wild (ranging from $125 to $250 one way / finally found one for like $135.). I’ll be with a buddy too so can split at least 3 ways.  DM me and we can work out logistics.

I don't think so, they didn't look at it, just did it incase they did want it. Did the same with taking pictures of it.
Enjoy the shows, they sound great.

Thanks buddy.  I figured as much, but worth the ask.

I'm on the flight out to CA as we speak.

The couple next to me is so shithoused wasted and out of control that United comped me the flight, and apparently gave me free wifi as well.

Also...this flight departed at 7:30 AM local time.

    Solid start to the trip....

    Stay classy San Diego.

Was one of them a jockey? My husband once had an early flight, EWR-SAN, and a jockey sat next to him and drank seven screwdrivers; it's a testament to my man's patience that said jockey deplaned intact. (And if you're flying out of EWR, don't blame America's Finest City for those d-bags)

Been an awesome 2 days in SoCal so far. Perfect weather. Going to be a blast! Hiking and beach tomorrow. Anyone near Laguna, check out the Beachcomber Cafe in Crystal Cove. Awesome food and awesome ocean views, especially at sundown.

I think you must have brought the weather with you. After six months or so of PNW weather, it's so nice to see the sun again. Enjoy! And if memory serves, there are great tidepools at Crystal Cove if you're able to get down there at low tide.

Oddly no finish time for PJ yet....
They never published a finish time in advance last weekend, to my knowledge.
The original set time did. !0:50 10:50 and 10:20 for the 3 nights.

    ^^^ This.

I think that the curfew will be 10:50/11:00 again Friday and Saturday.

So, if I'm driving down from LA, what's the best parking/getting there move? Should I try to finagle two shuttle passes and park near the shuttle stop? Is there another option? Any info is much appreciated.

I would suggest driving straight to Dana Point and find street parking near the Ralph's on Del Prado. It's a quick 10-15 minute walk to the venue. (though it will take longer getting back because of everyone leaving & walking uphill)
