    Forget all these east coast homers...Grand Rapids was and is the best show I will ever see Pearl Jam perform.

    No, I wasn't at the show, but after buying the boot, I felt like I was. This was a great show!

    This is the only boot I've bought that I have not actually attended the show. It's worth 10 bucks!

    Looks like they should make more ticket mistakes to help liven up the shows.

    believe me...i would be happy to have ticket "mishaps" more often. i have never experienced a crowd like that night, nor have i ever enjoyed myself so much at a pearl jam concert. letting us newer fans in the front (although most of the fans i talked to had been in the fan club since '95-'97 and that's not THAT new) made all the difference!

    i've seen pj live almost 25 times since 1994. i've attended many of these shows in 10C seats. amongst them all, i've been to the epic '95 soldier field show, two MSG shows, benroya hall, all three mansfield shows, state college, united center a few times, alpine, and several others considered 'the best' by many.

    grand rapids is hands down my favorite for one conclusive reason. all the individual elements necessary for a 'great' show (seating, venue, crowd, setlist, pj's energy & onstage chemistry, length of show, band's comfort level, etc.) seemed to come together at ONE time - so special.
    there's a reason grand rapids (of all places) is one of the favorite boots from the tour.
