You know how you often hear how bad 80's music sucks?  Naaaaaaw!  Not when there's this kind of 80's stuff out there.  Just came in today and lovin' 'em!

I have the Turrentine. I like it.  I saw the Baby Face but was worried I wouldn't like organ. Let us know your thoughts.

I felt the same as you.  I listened to this release on Apple Music and really liked it.  Good grungy sound and not too much folky acoustic stuff.  Worth checking out.

Don't bother hunting down an original.  It gets squirrely in the upper ranges and starts to distort.  I have a flawless copy and the MOFI kills it.

There was a restock yesterday and I picked up Miles "Porgy and Bess" and Tigerlilly from Natalie Merchant.  People always rip on me, but I have loved 10,000 Maniacs from the first day I heard them in high school in about 89.

Baby Face is awesome! If you like Jimmy Smith, you'll like this album!  Although, Grant Green and Fred Jackson kinda steal the show,  which ain't bad! My quote of the year is........." I haven't meet a Tone Poet, that i didn't like!!!"
I think this is one of the sleeper titles in this series!

As familiar as I am with some of these songs, I've never actually had the vinyl.  Picked up a mostly excellent copy cheap.  Whoa!  This thing rocks!
