Went to the gossip rag to see what this was about and she said that she had everyone tested. (That she spent a bunch of money doing it...which if a loaded person complains I am guessing was pricey)nicknyr15 said:I hope nobody here attended cardi b 37 people thanksgiving party. If so, I’d get tested.
Sure there are many here who were with people outside of their bubbles who didn't get testing to clear to attend their function.

It is a bit early to tell based on rolling 7 day averages, but like some European countries, our new anti-gathering outside of households seems to be working.

Where'd they spend all the money?0 -
The PPP loans were meant for companies to pay wages to their employees instead of laying them off. The unemployment benefits were also increased for a period of time. That 0% number for the US isn’t exactly legit but the overall point of the list may still be appropriate.Zod said:bootlegger10 said:

Fuck! It's getting bad, bad, bad and they're saying it probably will get worse. Damn coronavirus. Bring on the vaccine. I might bump myself up the line to get it after all. Holy shit balls...

I believe the US feds topped up people’s EI by 600 a week during the 1st wave. The CERB has created a nightmare for people since trudope decided he’d play politics with lower income earners and not deduct tax off that 2000/month.Zod said:bootlegger10 said:

well, my teammate tested positive last night and is quarantined for 14 days. i may have to cover her accounts the next 2 weeks. she is making an end of year push to hit her quota, so this is really bad timing for her. fortunately for me i have not been around her for about 3 weeks, so i am safe for now. knocks wood...
my manager, who is a covid downplayer/denier/bigtime trumper that thought this was going away on nov 4, called this morning and said that his son and daughter in law are both positive. they picked it up from the gym last week.

Interesting. Are suicides really up in Japan over this? Cause this would make you wonder why.Bentleyspop said:hippiemom = goodness0 -
For one thing, suicide isn’t as taboo in Japan, but seeking psychological help is still very taboo in Japanese culture. I bet that the number of “suicidal” people are way up everywhere, as it does trend with isolationism related depression. This would be my guess.cincybearcat said:
