for a while it will be non stop rallies and ramblings of a madman
I am wondering if he can/will have the rallies.

He will no longer have our tax dollars fueling Air Force One as his personal taxi service.  They also cost a lot of money to hold, and he will not be backed by overt Republican fundraising.  Will he want to just pour money into his own rallies with little ROI other than ego?
Maybe they will charge admission?  And if they do, will enough people show up and open their wallets?

It will be interesting, but his base idiocy knows no bounds.  He could probably get people in at 100 a pop and all he needs is a mic and a podium.  he can make a bunch.  Not sure how long his base could stomach it in the long run.

Not sure about Secret Service either or how that works.  They could put a stop to it too I imagine.

President-elect Biden wary of Trump-focused investigations, sources say

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/president-elect-biden-wary-of-trump-focused-investigations-sources-say/ar-BB1b5zo0?ocid=spartan-ntp-feeds

"Biden has raised concerns that investigations would further divide a country he is trying to unite and risk making every day of his presidency about Trump, said the sources, who spoke on background to offer details of private conversations. They said he has specifically told advisers that he is wary of federal tax investigations of Trump or of challenging any orders Trump may issue granting immunity to members of his staff before he leaves office. One adviser said Biden has made it clear that he "just wants to move on."

I think this is smart of Biden. I know the people that are obsessed with Trump don't want to hear it, but I think the best course of action with Trump is to let him fade into obscurity. Eventually he'll be the proverbial "old man yelling at clouds." Actually, he sort of already is.
I think it's smart of biden to SAY THIS, knowing full well he won't be the one initiating any investigation. this can give him deniability that he's going after trump, so trumpsters can whine all they want about a biden witch hunt, but it won't hold any water.

  • Huge mistake to let Team Trump Treason Tax Cheat off the hook if he’s committed federal offenses before, during or after he leaves office. Huge mistake on so many levels and if we’ve learned anything from Obama “just wanting to move on,” is that the lack of investigation, reporting out and making changes only emboldens those in power, if they so choose to abuse it. And does anyone really expect that the repubs won’t investigate and go after dems for real or imagined transgressions? Where have you been for 12 years? Team Trump Treason Tax Cheat needs, at the very least, to pay his taxes. Otherwise, why should any of us?

Biden should do what he can to distance himself from it both publicly and at the office. Appoint an AG that wants to get to the truth and let that person and the DOJ do the work.

What he's saying now might be smart, but I do believe letting things go unpunished is wrong in the long run. So "letting go of the past" would be a terrible trait in the next AG.

he already stated publicly that he won't stand in the way of any investigation. i believe/hope that's still the case. all this means is he's not going to send the dogs out after him. he's just going to let the dogs out of the cage and do their thing.

as he should. he should not put his thumb on the scale of justice, but let the agencies in charge of seeking justice do their thing unabated.

Yeah that's probably the case. I think Biden's point is he's not going to be talking about Trump or publicly calling for investigations when he's president. If an agency goes after Trump for something, and the media asks Biden about it, he probably just won't comment on it.

I don't know. Lindsey's starting to behave like someone that doesn't want to see a new AG.

She's Cuban.  I find that interesting.  The socialist mark really sticks in that community.

I think that's why the so called "brown vote" in florida should surprise nobody. They don't give a fuck if trump is a racist, they are terrified of the brutality of communism, which they equate with socialism, which trump fooled them into believing biden is.

But if she's Cuban, how the fuck can she not know what a socialist actually is though?
