Our local Boys and Girls Club, who have been hosting students whose parents need to work during the day, just shut down for two weeks because of an outbreak. One of my students is waiting on his test results.

Seems to me that the only ones openly disregarding mask wearing and screaming about opening back up and returning to "normal," were repub governors, up until Sleepy Woke Joe Basement Biden won, anyway because some of them have now changed their tune. Further, the red states saw what happened in the blue states and could have totally avoided the extent of the shit show they're facing now, but for kissing the ass of their dear leader, Team Trump Treason Tax Cheat. Being critical of those who openly mocked and delegitimized a necessary response to a pandemic is not the same as "snarkily wondering aloud if more Trump voters caught it." Facts are facts and I believe that counties that voted Team Trump Treason Tax Cheat have higher infection and positivity rates. But its because they're doing more testing. Do they regularly test or just when they show symptoms? Most are just required to test if they start to feel bad or have a fever, so there are plenty asymptomatic people with allergies sneezing it around like nobody’s business right now at most places of employment. They aren’t getting tested because it’s “just allergies”, yet the public saturation with this virus is growing daily...exponentially. Trump voters are anti-mask and against any modifications to their routines and lives. They are willfully driving the spread through their churches, bars, restaurants, and family gatherings while more open-minded (and intelligent) people to the left of Trump are trying to do what they can to mitigate spread and getting caught up in the rising numbers.
