I don't have a real problem with those words. I know it's a dog whistle, but you still have to prove it and you don't go to court to throw out 50 ballots when you're down by 50k.Merkin Baller said:McConnell came out & said something today about 'legal votes' as well; sounds to me like they're at least keeping the window cracked to challenge the results.Well, if they take the position that any votes arriving after Tuesday (in PA, say) are not legal then it would be more than 50, right?Win NV & GA and it won't matter anyway. The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
But the dipshit-in-chief will spend millions of dollars to try and find those 50 ballots.mrussel1 said:

Remember he's the type of guy who would pay his lawyers $1 million to fight a $100,000 lawsuit and up settling for $25,000 and claim victory.0 -
Kellyanne also ran with "legal votes". Not to upset Donald. Or to shape a narrative. Doesn't matter. But still interesting to see their PM:s taking affectmrussel1 said:

lindsay graham comes out of hiding to offer trump $500K for his legal effort. I wonder if Don Jr deleted his "I'm not surprised" tweet to someone saying "lindsay hasn't tweeted in 24 hours".Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

It was on ITV one of the main stations here. I dont know why it would be anything other than true.mrussel1 said:
From what source? People keep citing exit polls but you cannot use those this year. I have not seen anyone that has dissected actual voting data at this point.lastexitlondon said:I just saw on our tv. Trump has more muslim, black, hispanic and so on votes than he did in 2016 .
Its amazing with how he behaves. Hard to grasp

but they can't possibly know that from the sheer numbers of people who voted by mail. this is just another talking point by the republican party to legitimize itself.lastexitlondon said:

It's over. He is not winning. My big question is does he just walk away before January 20th. I picture him having a moving company show up and empty the white house of everything and he has it shipped to his new home in North Korea...it all makes sense now...or maybe it's the great joint I just smoked.josevolution said:If he wins the parade of trucks with flags might be too much for me to bare!jesus greets me looks just like me ....0 -
And now Graham has started to call for full on investigation of election results I’d say Republicans are still kissing Covidiot ass!gimmesometruth27 said:we have started to recover. prominent republicans are not defending trump. lindsey graham has not tweeted in 24 hours. trump is an island.jesus greets me looks just like me ....0 -
Exit polls are interviews with people as they leave polling stations. The results are accurate for the people they interviewed, but the interviews this year are not gong to be representative because democrats overwhelmingly voted by mail or early, so no exit polls. In a month or so, there will be actual data to draw conclusions. Right now the samples are biased.lastexitlondon said:

The question is now, will Trump let America recover?
His Twitter rants are incendiary enough anyway - can you imagine the kind of stuff he's going to be saying for the next 4 years? He's got nothing to lose, and there are still a lot of people that will believe him and refuse to accept anything that Biden/Harris will say.“Do not postpone happiness”

True, but platforms like Twitter will be even quicker to censor his bullshit when he's just a powerless septuagenarian clown who pretends to be ultra wealthy.goldrush said:The question is now, will Trump let America recover?

I don’t condone censorship, no matter who is silenced.
Let him rant like a tantrum-y baby. His words don’t hold much water (much like many of the blowhards on social media).0 -
I get the sentiment, but we will drown in our freedoms. We aren't responsible enough to handle as much freedom as we have, you should go peruse the comments of any news article on Facebook and then think about whether letting everyone have an equal platform is a good idea.hedonist said:I don’t condone censorship, no matter who is silenced.

To expand...
I agree about censorship on an ideological level, but in a practical sense our society is fracturing in a dangerous way.
Trump's manbaby rants *shouldn't* hold much water, but they absolutely do. There are tens of millions of people following his lead, they all believe this election is 100% stolen by fraud. They think Communism is going to destroy this country by the next election and they are ready to fight to stop this insane fantasy from coming true. It's a dangerous situation, it's radicalization that really reminds me of Islamic radicalization. Echo chambers and self-segregation from inside mixed with righteous but unhelpful ridicule and marginalization from outside.
I think the idea that social media shouldn't be censored at all is mostly one that comes from two groups: extremists who don't want to be censored, and people like you who have legitimate ideological concerns, but don't actually use social media enough to see how incredibly toxic it is.

To answer the OP, obviously not. A projected 75 million are still parroting Trumps lies of election fraud. They are here to stay, and I am not sure how I can live amongst an army or liars.0

It's not an army of liars, it's an army of idiots. Self-radicalized, out of touch with reality idiots.Lerxst1992 said:To answer the OP, obviously not. He thinks the fraud stuff is a joke.Lerxst1992 said:To answer the OP, obviously not. A projected 75 million are still parroting Trumps lies of election fraud. It's amazing how many of them actually think the legal efforts can change the election.
I try to point out as much as possible "now imagine if tRump had won the popular vote" to remind them of what we went through four years ago.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

I like to point out Trump's voter integrity commission... the one that was assembled to find evidence to back up trump's claims about voter fraud from 2016 that cost him the popular vote... the same commission that disbanded after finding no widespread voter fraud, despite their best efforts to find it.0
