    Beatles
Interesting idea and I went with Beatles (hands down- I never really caught on to Elvis- respect yes, fan no) but had the question been, "Are you an Elvis, Beatles, or Rolling Stones kind of person?" I would have checked "Rolling Stones".

I enjoy songs from both but don't have any recordings of either.  Not my bag.
Would you prefer a five-dollar shake?

But do you put on a pair of shoes when you walk into the New York Public Library, fella?
These have to be song references because I have zero idea what they mean...
Well, let me tell you something, funny boy. Y'know that little stamp, the one that says 'New York Public Library'? Well that may not mean anything to you, but that means a lot to me. One whole hell of a lot. Sure, go ahead, laugh if you want to. I've seen your type before: Flashy, making the scene, flaunting convention. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. What's this guy making such a big stink about old library books? Well, let me give you a hint, junior. Maybe we can live without libraries, people like you and me. Maybe. Sure, we're too old to change the world, but what about that kid, sitting down, opening a book, right now, in a branch at the local library and finding drawings of pee-pees and wee-wees on the Cat in the Hat and the Five Chinese Brothers? Doesn't HE deserve better? Look. If you think this is about overdue fines and missing books, you'd better think again. This is about that kid's right to read a book without getting his mind warped! Or: maybe that turns you on, tempo; maybe that's how y'get your kicks. You and your good-time buddies. Well I got a flash for ya, joy-boy: Party time is over. Y'got seven days, tempo. That is one week!

    Elvis
Weird comparison to me. I think that Elvis vs his contemporaries (Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Louis, Johnny Cash, etc) and the Beatles vs their contemporaries (Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Who, etc) are better comparisons. That said, I prefer Elvis over the Beatles (and no Poncier, I'm not in my 70s  )

Yeah, really no opinion on either.  Never really been into either of them.  No disrespect, I know the music, just never been "gaga" over either.
Don't come closer or I'll have to go

GaGa?  Now I can get into some Lady GaGa!

    Beatles
Really only recently have dug into the Beatles (thanks to my wife). She has had me buy the Beatles vinyl she wanted and I have a new appreciation for them. Fantastic song writers and their influence cannot be denied.

As for Elvis.. well the creep factor of dating a 14 year old is just too much for me. Even when I heard that as a teenager in the early 90s it tripped me out.  He “had no problem with it because he could mold her into the ideal woman”. YUCK

Are some missing the Pulp Fiction reference to the poll question?  You’ll have to take up the poll answer options with Quentin Tarantino.

Beatles fans can like Elvis and Elvis fans can like Beatles but not equally ... yadda yadda yadda.
If I like the Beatles it tells me what kind of person I am.... one that abhors pedophilia.

If I were to add another answer, it would have been A Five-Dollar Shake or a Royale with Cheese.
