Georgie was catnipping around while I had this playing.  Fitting, I think.

Perfect stoner music for a catnipped kitty.

Someone is not happy. It's storming. It's loud. She crawled into my lap.

    Aw, those eyes.

Storms (and earthquakes) are not well-liked by the domestic feline community.

    The Yeowww! catnip cigar.

    That’s the good stuff!

I gotta get one of those! For George, that is - I buy my own ;)

I find that the Yeowww! products are the best. They are more pricey, but worth it. Tristan also likes their banana one. My other cat seems to be catnip resistant. She has very little reaction.

Chainer goes nutty for anything catnip related, so she spent a lot of time rolling around with it & rubbing her face against it.

Alice, like one of your cats doesn't seem to care about catnip. On occasion she'll show an interest, but not often.

George feigns disinterest for about thirty seconds, then cannot resist succumbing.

Nothing like watching them unabashedly roll around...it’s like a dog loving on grass.

I do not think she can get herself any closer unless she claws her way in. She keeps trying though.

Nothing like cat warmth and that soft weight against you, right? Sans claws, of course.

Sweet. Neither of my cats are super lap cats. They don't really sit on my lap. However, they will sit pressed against me. The minute I try to put them actually on my lap they are not into it. Lucky you.

She does roll as lap cat sometimes-- on her terms only.  What you see would be Leia stealing the warmth from my thigh and the cheeks of my ass.   It's a chillyish day in the OH.

No, just an average lazy afternoon.

She (?) looks just like Beans did from behind.

Cats are funny that way; sometimes they'll be drawn to someone who out and out dislikes cats (and eventually gets won over, duh), or they simply decide that you're now in their circle.

We bought the boy a comfy chair. First he was frightened of it; now, he’s all cool.

I am so sorry. What a sweet face he has. I have been there. It really sucks. I hope you and your family are doing ok  I wish the hug didn't have a smile on it - but you understand the sentiment.

He was so young. I’m really sorry to hear this. Hope the family’s doing alright, considering.
