    It's interesting that it's coming from a party.  I don't understand that.  I received an absentee ballot form from my county registar.  I filled it out but I didn't notice I needed to put in my last four socials.  About a week later I received it back from the county with a post it asking to fix the omission.  I did so.  I thought that was great that the person in the office went through that effort.  And I'm in a very populated urban/suburban county. 
    I realize this is just a ballot request but given the current narrative from tRump (the dems are trying to steal the election, mail in voting is fraud, etc.) it seems very odd to send these to what I assume are just republicans.  While I have voted Dem for years I am still a registered repub.
    In MN, we’ve received a numerous absentee ballot request forms in the past month. A couple from the county we live in. The rest have been from the MNGOP and other GOP affiliated groups. They’re mass mailing these things

    I think I have asked to be unsubscribed from 4 different GOP text campaigns. They either request money because Biden is gaining ground or tell me to request an absentee ballot. All of it seems like a scam.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    Morning Jobe mentioned a few states recently passed laws allowing unsolicited mailings of ballots. But they claimed only non swing states have passed these laws. This is very dangerous as it feeds the trump “fake ballots, go out and vote twice to make sure your vote is counted” theme.
