I agree that it states that, which is why I didn't bother buying them all at once.on2legs said:
I feel your frustration but all the posters clearly state they ship separately. It sounds like there was a glitch that allowed for the combined shipping. And anyone who ships 5 posters in one tube should be arrested.deweil said:So I emailed 10C about shipping charges - one day, they're charing $9+/poster, regardless. Today, it's combined shipping (you know, like a NORMAL e-commerce business). So they emailed back saying that they'd investigate this undercharging issue...
Not sure if that means they'll void combo orders, add more charges, etc.
I'm pretty sure they're gonna screw me though. (I ordered individually because I didn't think it mattered, then ordered all 5 I wanted together for a savings of $32. Then emailed them to void the first 5 orders, since they say they can only have 1 print/member, so I don't want dups)...
At this point, I might just get them all voided.
They can put two posters in a mystery tube box, why can't they do the same here?
I then saw other people say they were getting discounted shipping, so I figured I misunderstood the wording (combining older posters had discounted shipping even when the new posters didn't)
As for the 5 posters/one tube - perhaps you're not familiar with the packing wizards at Beyond the Pale, Flood Gallery, or Poster Cabaret, etc - I have routinely received tubes with 10 or so posters from these fine folks and they're packed like champs, shipping from austin, australia, england, etc. and it cost me less shipping from australia than these 5 posters will cost me from the states.
I don't begrudge them not offering free shipping. but 1/tube is wasteful and costly and plenty of artists/galleries/distributors have figured out how to combine orders for customer savings.0 -

Agreed. Should never been that many posters in a tube.on2legs said:

Back in the day we would go to the Punk & Funk shows at the old 9:30 club.
Trouble Funk,E.U., Fugazi, etc
Globe did the printing for so many Go-Go, R&B, Soul shows.
Not once did I ever consider taking a poster off a light pole. Wish I had.

Not once did I ever consider taking a poster off a light pole. Wish I had.I grew up in the DC area in Maryland. Used to go the 9:30 Club all the time - the small old one before it moved - where you had to go through the rat infested alley to get in, and the peeling black paint on the ceiling would be falling on your head. Good times!Your reason for the liking the Baltimore poster is the same as mine. I used to see these Globe posters all over the city plastered to every light pole. I also never thought to take one.

But this is a fan club. Not a major poster warehouse. Why not compare the ten club to Amazon and complain they don’t offer free two day shipping?deweil said:

If they can fill a box with shirts, hoodies, stickers and a tube containing TWO posters for $20 in shipping, then I think it's fair to ask why they can't have that same box with 2 tubes in it, with 2 posters in each one, for the same/similar shipping. $50 in shipping is not normal, compare it to any other band site, including this one with previous things like mystery tubes...0 -

Santos addressed that at one point. The mystery box tubes are wide enough to hold two prints but wouldn't be sturdy enough to not be crushed if they were mailed outside of a cardboard box.deweil said:
