This (or at least a version of it) is what some of us watched at MoPop the night the exhibit opened.

Interesting - so is this being released in lieu of a vinyl vault release?

Was thinking the same thing. Decent show, glad to see them offering up a streaming event - hope enough people sign up so they see the potential in opening up other shows.

Is "high definition visuals" an actual video or is it just still shots? Might be a dumb question, but the wording seemed odd.

Honestly pretty excited about this. Maybe because I haven't gotten around to listening to this boot yet. But fun way to spend a night.

Pearl Jam put a show up and charge us for it. I wish I was shocked but I’m not. Extremely poor form and very disappointing.

  • Yeah the Phish "Dinner and a Movie" series putting up a free show every week has been great. That's how you do it, this is really disappointing from the 10 Club to charge

    And My Morning Jacket.

I think it's kind of lame that they are charging to be honest.  And as someone said, there is great video of this show on YT with multiple camera views and soundboard audio.  If they are going to charge for something, at least make it a show that hasn't been widely viewed already (by die hard fans, at least).

Release the friggen Gigaton tour rehearsals. I'd gladly pay double for that.

Are free. Isn't one from 2004 getting streamed tonight? :)

    1. Is it in black and white or in full colour all the way through?

    2. Is it edited for this stream/release - or is it just a recording of the screens from the real time editing at the show?

I read the email too fast and thought they were finally doing something for the fans after all this time.

I understand a portion of the sales go to charity, but Phish had raised over $500,000 on July 12 by streaming shows for free and encouraging donations through their charitable foundation the Waterwheel Foundation, which has been donating to various causes like HeadCount, Feeding America, Volunteers in Medicine, Color of Change, etc.

I'm not sure what the total is up to now

They also make new/old merch each week with part of the proceeds going to charity.

“First time playing at home in Seattle in almost a decade?” What about the Key Arena show in 2013? I swear I was there. That happened, right?

Yeah, I was scratching my head at that one!  More like “first Seattle show in HALF a decade”...

Does anyone know if this Nugs TV is compatible with Apple Air Play, or do they have an app so that it can be viewed on a TV?
  • Metallica, Phish, DMB, Dead and Co, Grateful Dead are all doing weekly free shows with donation links.

Pearl Jam finally steps up to the plate and they are charging. Why is this band so backwards when it comes to fan engagement?
