Definitely good time to bring up the completely messed up USPS system - I've had two posters shipping priority mail get lost for over a month now. Don't expect anything to arrive soon unless UPS or FedEx is shipping them.
i have had my issues with fedex too. i have an account that was supposed to receive an item on friday for a surgery today. it was not delivered friday. i tracked it this morning and it says delivered by end of day today, so the surgery had to be canceled. there was no reason for the delay listed. so frustrating.
Both FedEx and UPS have been screwy since the pandemic started, and have suspended all their guaranteed services... everything is out the window these days.

Ridicilous how fast it is on ebay. This is why they should have sold it to the fans with tickets for these shows.
The person who sells this on ebay aint no fan, just a......
These were artist copies. They are going to go fast, they are going to be more expensive and no one should get priority over them.

    Just wait for the SE.

Did I miss something? Did these ever or are they ever going up on the PJ website or just direct from the artists?

Artists should be charging more for these. You look at the market and $65-75 is a steal. You can bitch about flippers all you want, but the reality is that selling at those retail prices creates a huge opportunity.

Ahhh,...poster drops followed up by posts complaining about missing out...almost makes me feel like we're back to normal life again.  ;)

    Byous is charging $100
BK raised his prices last year when others did.
During the pandemic, they should be raising their prices a little, within reason.

Don't forget all the 10C art critics. If anyone needs a taste of normalcy, this is the place to be.

Agreed, a $30 m/u for an AP is nothing.

Does the band have input on their pricing? Are they nervous about alienating customers? Do we overstate the actual number of prints that sell at dramatically elevated mark-ups? If those were priced at $150 would they hang around? So many questions.

Haha.  Yep.  Only thing missing is griping about ticket lotteries.  This was the dose of normalcy I needed today.  I'll check back at 12:01 CST for some more...

I think its not cool to not wait AT LEAST til you have the damn thing from the artist, who is also struggling and the one who appreciates that loss.

Exactly right, the artists should make the prices high enough to deter flipping. I don't believe the band puts a ceiling on what they can charge.

There's a premium for PJ posters.  If they marked up pricing on PJ and none of the other bands they do posters for then all the PJ fans would be bitching.  Lose lose situation for them.

Less than 5 min a flipper has STL on ebay. sickening
In this case, honestly, what's the big deal?

I'm sure someone will buy it because it's limited edition and Pearl Jam.  I get it, but why is it a big deal in 2020?

The concert didn't happen.  No one was there and didn't get a poster.  Tenclub should have plenty to go around, for people who did not even attend.

If some "fan" with too much money and too little common sense wants to pay a ridiculous price on ebay for "art", the artist got paid during the pandemic already.

It may be a lame business practice, but it's not like the guy is hoarding water.  I don't usually defend flipping, but the concerts didn't happen.  Some people are waiting in food lines and getting evicted, others can buy prints at a premium on ebay.

Your definition of "sickening" and mine differ I guess.  I don't believe in taking advantage of people and am not some "hey, it's america, capitalism" person.  I just think there are bigger issues these days, even though we are on a PJ forum talking about prints.

For the record, I have MSG tickets, liked the poster, didn't try, and am pretty freaking good at drops and can maybe PB for someone later if they need help.
Good take until the part about little common sense and ridiculous prices.

I hate the argument that they should raise the AP prices much more. It’s a balance. You are just feeding the rich collectors at a certain point and not giving the little guy a shot to get one at an affordable cost

Eh...history tells us people will bitch no matter what. Whether or not they sell would be my only concern. These are premium items.
