    It likely depends on various factors like the area, the building, its residents, etc.

    My husband and I (plus one rather large cat) live in a 750-sf condo on the 9th floor in West Hollywood.  Our management has been fantastic in terms of enforcing COVID and specific building guidelines.  The majority of the residents too.

    I do understand that feeling though, benjs.

    Current phase: Phase 2 (Phase 3 from July 27th)

    American pharmaceutical company Moderna has had success with the development of its vaccine, with work dating back to February 2020 when China first started to share the genomic sequencing of the virus on January 11th. The first clinical batch of mRNA-1723 was completed on February 7th and was shipped to NIH for Phase 1 studies on February 24th. Phase 1 studies commenced during Early 2020, with the FDA approving for the vaccine development to head towards Phase 2 studies on May 12th.

    The University of Oxford has teamed up with biopharmaceutical company AstraZeneca on a potential vaccine. The vaccine candidate is already in a combined phase 2 + 3 testing, however, results of its phase 1 testing of AZD1222 have yet to be released and will release on July 20th. A preclinical trial of AZD1222 in pigs have shown that two doses produced a stronger antibody than 1.

    Private biopharmaceutical company Sinovac has been working on a potential vaccine, titled CoronaVac in which has shown success in Phase 1 and 2 trials with no severe adverse events and also showing a neutralisation of antibodies following a 14 day schedule of after being vaccinated. Phase 3 trials are being set up in Brazil and are expected to take up to 3 months.

    The University of Queensland has recently started trials on their COVID-19 vaccine. Development has begun ever since CEPI requested the UQ team to create a vaccine back in February and pre-clinical trials have shown that the potential UQ vaccine (which contains an adjuvant from CSL) was effective in lab testing to neutralise the virus whilst also being safe for humans to use. If phase 1 trials are successful, the University of Queensland is projecting for the vaccine to be available by early to mid-2021.

    CanSino Biologics worked in tandem with the Academy of Medical Science to develop a vaccine based on adenovirus AD5. In May, the potential vaccine successfully completed Phase 1 trials with no harmful impacts. Unpublished Phase 2 results further detailed immune responses leading to the Chinese military to approve of the vaccine on June 25th as a "specially needed drug".

    American pharmaceutical company Pfizer is working alongside FosunPharma and Biontech to provide a potential vaccine in the US. Data from the current phase 1+2 trials have stated that individuals that have taken the trialed vaccine had developed antibodies for COVID but have also experienced certain moderate side effects such as sleep disturbances and sore arms.

    Fast track status by the FDA was approved on July 13th, meaning that if approval were to be given, Pfizer could potentially manufacture upto 100 million doses of the vaccine by the end of this year, potentially 1.2billion doses by the end of next year.

    After Sinopharm found that an inactivated virus vaccine was safe to use and provided immunity towards COVID-19, Sinopharm started Phase 3 trials in the UAE where 15k people are expected to receive the potential vaccine.

    Medicago has just launched phase 1 trials with adjuvants from GSK and DynaVax after it found out that it could develop a potential COVID-19 vaccine by injecting genes into leaves, causing plant cells to create protein shells that thus, imitate the virus. If Phase 1 trials are successful, Phase 2 and 3 trials could start in October.

    That was copy and pasted from a forum I visit. I am trying to keep up to date with all of the upcoming vaccines and how far along they. Some are showing some real promise but the hardest steps are the ones coming and they usually take years to pass not months.

Next month I'm finally able to get out of my lease - I'm not even looking forward to going back to the city to move out, let alone that building.
    Glad you got out.  I’m wondering if the air circulation in those apartments is partially to blame for high cases in the cities.  I would probably have a panic attack too, glad you got out!

    How much of that time is cut simply by fast-tracking? If you move these applications to the front of the line, how long does it take to review and potentially approve? Based on my experience, I *think* it cuts a lot of time out but I'm not certain.

    Some of the responses are shitty and it’s a funny video but the camera and the vibe of the dudes is going to be instantly off putting to some. Most of the people they confronted were in situations where staying mask free is reasonable.
