I'm surprised to see the amount of people that put "Take the Long Way" at the bottom, love that song.
    I’m with you there. It’s a gem.
I’m not with you on Never Destination though. We couldn’t be farther apart 😂

I still don’t feel the magic of 7:00.  Bottom three song for me.
Top three live songs of this album will be:
    quick escape
retrograde (they will jam the hell out of the end)
    who ever said

    Where I am at currently:

    Quick Escape *****
    Dance of the Clairvoyants *****
    Who Ever Said *****
    Retrograde*****
    Buckle Up *****
    Comes Then Goes *****
    7:00 ****+
    River Cross ****+
    Never Destination****
    Alright ****
    Take the Long Way ***+
    Superblood Wolfmoon***

And yeah, I think it's a stellar album with five ***** tracks. Also, while I have Take the Long Way bottom two, I still love it and believe it has the best guitar solo of the album and maybe the last 3-4 PJ albums at that.

I have not either, Mcgruff. I’ve tried and tried to feel it, but I am not really digging 7 O’Clock at all. I’m actually not even sure I like it.

=) I swear I want to like it because it's different (one of the reasons I like "Take the Long Way", but I don't know...just hasn't hit me yet.  One day!

I’ve had enough time with the vinyl to rank these songs. I like all of them, but side B is played first for me, every time. This will change over time, always does.

    1. Never Destination
    2. Seven O'clock
    3. Take the Long Way
    4. Retrograde
    5. Who Ever Said
    6. Alright
    7. Comes Then Goes
    8. Quick Escape
    9. SBWM
    10. DOTC
    11. River Cross
    12. Buckle Up
I played the album for the first time in 6 weeks today.  I wanted to remember my list back in May.  Curious where I’m at now and of course things changed.

    1. Alright
    2. Never Destination
    3. Take the Long Way
    4. Who Ever Said
    5. Quick Escape
    6. 7:00
    7. Comes Then Goes
    8. Retrograde
    9. SBWM
    10. DOTC
    11. Buckle Up
    12. River Cross

There isn’t a bad song on this record, which I can’t say about Lightning Bolt (I’m talking to you SBM and Future Days). Solid “Comeback” album.
NME nailed it... it’s a solid effort, just don’t expect it to change your life

The top five have not changed for me, but Alright and SBWM have moved up a few spots recently.

Whoever Said really is a spectacular song
    “Do not postpone happiness”
    (Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
    (Tim Rogers)
