off the top of my head:  Patriot (quirky, dark and fun); the expanse (awesome sci-fi), Fleabag, Mrs Maisel.

question re: Jack Ryan: started watching it last night. during the scenes where the middle easterners were speaking, no subtitles. I thought "ok, this is weird, but maybe I'll find out what they are saying later". nope. so I had to turn on the subtitles on my tv. does this happen to everyone? it's kind of irritating to have the subtitles on for the entire show.

I can’t remember if I had an issue with jack Ryan.  I’ll check when I get home and see if I have the same problem as you do.

I’ve had problems with Netflix and subtitles not appearing in Babylon Berlin.  It seems to be an issue when I watch it in my regular tv, not on my iPad or iPhone.  It’s weird and frustrating.

k, just ordered a couple books off amazon (lemmy autobiography, black crowes tell all by the drummer), and it offered me a free month of prime video. Just started watching Jack Ryan. Anything else i should be looking for?
I really liked Man in the High Castle, Catastrophe, and Fleabag. There are also a lot of good band documentaries. You can go down the rabbit hole with those.

Fleabag is HILARIOUS. I really loved it. I heard that's it for that show. I hope that isn't true though.

So I watched the first episode of Jack Ryan again last night.  I had no problems with the subtitles appearing when Arabic was being spoken.  Maybe check your cable connections.  That was recommended for the Netflix issue.  Didn’t do anything for me, but you may have better luck.

I'm still an episode to go on Hanna. Haven't watched Jack Ryan season 2 yet. And behind on Mrs. Maisel and High Castle. I have so many I need to catch up on. Upload is good too. Also behind on Bosch

Watching this now (on Ep 4). I really wish Joel Kinnamon was still in it.

Have you watched the first season of Altered Carbon on Netflix for some Joel Kinnamon goodness?  Hanna is next on my watch list.

Hell yes. Though he totally won me over in The Killing. I love that Mireille Enos is in Hanna too.
