    An analyst on a morning news show who previously worked in our government tracking and observing fascist-type countries around the world, was asked what we should watch out for next. She explained that fascists work to steal elections. It's part of what they do. 
    We must be vigilant and make sure it doesn't happen here. So many things we never thought could happen here have happened. :(

    I'm glad he finally said something but his country deserved this when he resigned.  He did a great disservice by staying silent so long.  We needed him to tell us what the fuck was going on behind the doors.

    however when fuckstick suggests so egregiously counter to everything his service and sworn oaths at every reenlistment and new position, warranted this statement. Hes a military man, apolitical. They generally are deferential to the political class.

    It is but where has he been?  So many fear the goof that they hesitate to speak after they quit or more likely are let go. It’s never too late I just wish more of trumps former supporters see speaking the truth as a moral obligation. 

    Military brass are traditionally expected to remain non-political.  If you understand how deeply that runs, you will understand how unusual Mattis's indictment of Trump's egregious behavior is.  I say, "right on, General Mattis".

    I think it reinforces the idea that the "great military" made up of many Marines and soldier types will drag his kicking and screaming fatass from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as soon as becomes necessary. 

    The rules are already in place.  Numbers don't lie.  He should vacate the premises the day after the election.  Fucker.

Probably not Rosenstein admitting there was no need to have a special council created and no need for the Meuller witch hunt to ever happen.  So worried about Russia but the real treason was the outgoing administration sidestepping rules and policies to do anything possible to damage an incoming administration.  I don’t care which side you’re on, but our government should always be held accountable when they break the rules.  We put them in those positions, we should never have them going rogue for political reasons.  I have always had a healthy distrust for our govt but the fact that we as a people were played for three years because one side didn’t like losing is sad and petty.

    It's amazing how you've been a victim of gas lighting and you still fail to realize it.  Your fabricated concern is no concern of ours, since you asked.  I think it's fair to say we're troubled by the appalling lack of leadership on display day after day,  no matter the situation.  We care about the pandemic,  police brutality,  rioting,  looting,  and the President threatening citizens with military action.  You're worried about an ex general who plead guilty to lying.  Talk about sad and petty.

    If Obama gets tried tomorrow, nothing changes. If Trump gets tried tomorrow, hopefully something does. 

    You've had no such healthy distrust for government - you've had unhealthy distrust for whichever government you disagree with and blind faith in those you agree with. 

    If you don't see the necessity of dealing with current abuses of enormous power which are enormous in scope and impact and require no dissection to see, versus potential abuses of power from an ex-President which correctly brought to light corruption, there is no point in discussing anything with you. You have decided to be right instead of being righteous.
