It was like Christmas yesterday.  All four of these showed up to round out my Sun Ra collection:

Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

Awesome! I have to admit I am not familiar with Sun Ra... but know how it feels to complete a collection of a band’s discography. 👍

Sorry to bother...I have a half rant, half question...

Just bought Kanye's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy"..3x LP on vinyl. First, please don't judge...99% of my vinyl collection is what you'd expect from a typical PJ fan. I want some hip hop in there as a nice alternative. Second, I hate Kanye as a person, but FUCK he can make some good music.

ANYWAY...my question is, the 3x LP has 2-3 songs per side, and there is enough empty space on each disc to EASILY make this a 2x LP. Why would anyone do this?

Side note - packaging and artwork is beautiful.

And loudness.  The more grooves per side, the quieter an album is.

Do you say "vinyl disc" or "vinyl disk" ?

    I don’t think I’ve ever said either.
I just say ‘vinyl’ or ‘record’
