Im advocating for a public health insurance option that allows a person to choose their corporate plan, if it exists for them, or a govt administered plan known as MEDICARE. I get to stay on my private plan or choose a public one. This will have the added benefit of forcing corporate plans to compete as well.myoung321 said:

We have huge companies employing vast numbers of Americans that do not even have healthcare benefits.
Corporations no longer compete against each other for workers through enhanced benefit programs.
Not to mention the argument of stifling creativity and invention because you lock your people into jobs based on fear of losing healthcare.
Lose your job.. you won't have any "Choices"
Transferred to a different area by your company? "Choices" are what your employer says are your choices..
If the care is the same, then your only problem with it seems to be all citizens getting it.. Attitudes like that are why we have problems like this.. ME ME ME ME ....
You are right... I do what to take away your INSURANCE, and give you the same care but with the safety net not to lose evethign you've worked for all your life only because you or a loved one gets sick.. ... I want every American to have Healthcare.. doesn't matter if they stock grocery selves, work in hospitals, fast food... or have a cushy corporate job..
Maybe care just a little about your fellow citizens...humans??

You don't have a choice now.. You do what your employer says or you're on your own.. What kinda of choice is that?
I want to give you healthcare without the worry of losing it for your family if you get sick or lose your job.
I guess if you lack any empathy what-so-ever for your fellow citizens your position is understandable, yet at the same time you fail to see how M4A would protect you? How is this any different than poor people voting for Republicans? Vote against your own best interests.. great idea!
