Where did I say that trump did a good job? I said all our leaders failed us. All of them. Not just him. Pelosi gets a free pass for telling everyone to go to China town late February? The same week that my company closed its doors and Mike Dewine closed the state of Ohio, when Italy was burning up, the President was talking about how there cases were 15 and would be zero soon. He held two rallies and a party at Mara Lago. No other president would have done that. Not Hillary, not Romney, not Obama, not Bush. No one.0 -
The president sets the tone and tenor for the country. He had the Intel and resources earlier than anyone else. He's the CEO. He could have closed mass tran anywhere here wanted as early ad he wanted. He could have convened the governors and explained the risks. He could have a started stockpiling ventilators, invoked the defense act weeks earlier, required the retooling of GM weeks earlier. While your mayor may have been able to do more earlier, my wife could have stockpiled toilet paper earlier too, so maybe she bears some responsibility. But only one man had the intelligence, resources AND bully pulpit to make this urgent earlier, and he failed. His actions TRAILED those of governors across the country, including mine.nicknyr15 said:

My good man. The president of the United States is the leader of this country. He is the most important voice in the entire world. He spent more than a month ignoring this virus, downplaying this virus, and just generally acting as if it was annoyance to him until he was forced to take it more seriously about a month ago. And you're blaming Pelosi? Leaders like Pelosi back then were treating this seriously and were trying their best to relay as much resonsible info the general public as possible. The fact that president was acting so irresponsibly during a time when all efforts should've been made towards testing and containing made everyone else's job incredibly more difficult. How you can't see this is beyond me.

Yes everyone has to be held accountable and not everyone did the right thing.
