Brendan would be well and truly finished his exam now....wonder how he went?

I'm soooo glad I've finished uni and big exams etc. I used to hate the feeling of driving to an exam, feeling sick and shaky because I've been awake all night and smoked 2 packets of cigarettes while studying. :o

He's doing 2 subjects isn't he? So I'm sure examiners from one subject wouldn't care when other subjects exams are.

I used to always cop that shit at uni too. You'd have a 3 week exam block and I'd have 3 exams all in the same week!?!?!? And quite often a morning AND afternoon exam. Grrrrrrr....

What did you do at uni?

    Hey Ziggy???

Glenn was telling me something about the air quality there being really bad?? He said something about they've just set up a 14th and 15th monitor thingamajig that tests the air quality. Apparently the lead levels in the air is REALLY bad  He said a local guy was saying it's so bad, he can wipe down his outdoor table every morning and it's covered in a fine black dust (lead) and that he's looking at moving, for the sake of his kids.

    Have you heard about this?

It's kinda made up my mind NOT to move there :(

WHAT? NO! I've never even heard that and I've been here my whole life! ha ha Mum and Dad live in the suburb that gets a black dust at their house (Yarrawonga)...

Okay, I just did some research and found that they have set up new air monitoring stations due to a black dust. Townsville's air ranges from "Good to Very Good". Mt Isa does have a lead problem.

The fact that someone is moving away from Townsville due to this black dust is a bit overboard! It's not THAT bad!

OK.....they were thinking about moving because they'd been told the black dust contained lead.

Cool....that's why I asked you.....ya usually get a different perspective from a true local :)

I just found this too: Queensland Health found the dust did not appear to present any significant public health risk.

    http://townsvillebucketbrigade.org/?q=node/8

The black dust is attacking the absolutely RICHEST part of Townsville! They're probably just whiney snobs (bar my mum and dad -- they're awesome! :D) haha

The lady in that article is from Edinburgh street which is right underneath mum and dad's street on Yarrawonga hill. Mum and Dad's balcony basically overlooks her street and not once have I walked out there and seen any dust at all. And we moved there when I was 10!

Maybe mum and dad's house is just lucky....don't know.

OK....I just did it again using a newer photo and got pretty much the same

83% - Rachel Bilson (Summer from the O.C)
    78% - Nikky Cox
    75% - Natalie Glebova
    74% - Krisitin Cavallari
    74% - Brenda Song ( )
    74% - Elisha Cuthbert
    73% - Kate Beckinsale
    73% Lacey Chabert

I don't even know who half those chicks are??? At least I didn't get Marilyn Manson again LOL!

Well if it's just harmless dust, that wouldn't bother me 1 bit.....I'm used to red dust here, so would just be a change of colour and I'm not racist :D

Glenns been trying to talk me into it since he moved there and I had said no way on earth!!!!
But......I'm starting to worry about the kids not having him around :(
Steven (our oldest) is 12 now and if Glenn is going to be there for 5 years......yeah....12-17 is a pretty important age (as is any really) for him to not have his Dad around :(
I realised saying he's got buckley's chance getting me to move there was thinking selfishly and I have to put the kids before myself.
