So I was thinking today at work (another boring shift), what would PJ have been like if Dave Grohl had accepted the offer to become PJ's new drummer after Dave A got fired? Would "No Code" have been released, or would we have seen a more 'rocking' album?

Would depend on how much of a say he'd have had.....being the 'newbie' . Even so....it's a tough one?? Dave does have his softer side and may have gone along with No Code the way it is, while he got a feel for things and settled in?
So yeah....I think we would have still got No Code.
I love Dave Grohl!! (he's THE coolest man alive IMO) but to be honest....I'm glad he did his own thing and didn't accept PJ's offer0 -

Songs I want to hear tomorrow night off the Foo's first 2 albums:
Everlong (one of my favourite songs of all time)
Alone + Easy Target
This Is A Call
My Hero
Big Me
Monkeywrench
I'll Stick Around
Up In Arms
Hey, Johnny Park!
New Way Home
Down In The Park (it's a B-Side, but it's a great song)
I've seen all these songs performed before (twice in the case of some songs) but they're all classics IMO0 -

Looking at the list and in relation to my discussion question, these styles of songs could've been implemented into PJ's repertoire if Dave had accepted the job0
