I went up to an E cup when I was breast feeding our babies  No joke....ya could have used my bra as a sail on a boat!!! It was friggen HIDEOUS!!!!! I looked and felt like I would fall over when I stood up. LOL!
Nope....I'd rather stay with what I've got, thanks........unless I won lotto....and then I might treat myself to a bit of an overhaul..LOL!!
I know you're not here Brendan....but just wanted to post that I'm thinking of ya Hope the exams a piece-a-piss
I was going to send you a good luck text this morning, but didn't wake up til 7:30 and you would have just been starting, so I was too late.
So......even though you don't need it -
Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 2024
So I was thinking today at work (another boring shift), what would PJ have been like if Dave Grohl had accepted the offer to become PJ's new drummer after Dave A got fired? Would "No Code" have been released, or would we have seen a more 'rocking' album?

Hmmmmm. Tough question!!!
Would depend on how much of a say he'd have had.....being the 'newbie' . Even so....it's a tough one?? Dave does have his softer side and may have gone along with No Code the way it is, while he got a feel for things and settled in?
So yeah....I think we would have still got No Code.
I love Dave Grohl!! (he's THE coolest man alive IMO) but to be honest....I'm glad he did his own thing and didn't accept PJ's offer

I hate hypotheticals....I use my brain too much to consider hypotheticals! And I have a headache..... :(
Songs I want to hear tomorrow night off the Foo's first 2 albums:
Everlong (one of my favourite songs of all time)
Alone + Easy Target
This Is A Call
My Hero
Big Me
Monkeywrench
I'll Stick Around
Up In Arms
Hey, Johnny Park!
New Way Home
Down In The Park (it's a B-Side, but it's a great song)
I've seen all these songs performed before (twice in the case of some songs) but they're all classics IMO

Looking at the list and in relation to my discussion question, these styles of songs could've been implemented into PJ's repertoire if Dave had accepted the job

They've pretty much stuck to the same set list....These are the one's you'll probably get from your list.
Everlong
This Is A Call
My Hero (accoustic)
Big Me
Monkeywrench
There was quite a few I was hoping for and didn't get. 2 I was really hoping for that weren't played - 'In Your Honour' and 'Free Me' :(
And.... i wanna hear Aurora... because i heard that when I first saw the fooeys... the album hadn't been released but i heard it on a live set they did the night before i saw them! Uni of NSW roundhouse
Nah, I opted against going. Still tix on sale so i may change my mind between now and next Tuesday though
I've heard Aurora twice. Once, like you, before it had been released, at the Glenworth Valley Festival, and again at BDO 2000
How the heck do you 2 remember set list and what was played so many years ago??? I'm battling to remember what was played the minute I step foot out of a venue - let alone what was played on a particular gig on a particular date - YEARS AGO!!!
"Hey, Johnny Park!" used to be a staple, and they can shove their acoustic version of "My Hero" up their anal passages :(
Awwwww. Don't be sad......like you said you have already seen all the songs before
Yeah....I kinda felt a bit ripped of with some of the accoustics he did :( They were still good though.....different.
I'd say it was necessary, or he would have been too knackered to play as long as they did. It's a pretty full on gig...especially for Dave!!
