I think there are loads of independents and even plenty of conservatives who haven’t been able to vote in primaries that would come out for him. When people really listen to him they learn how much he actually stands for working families.mickeyrat said:EarlWelsh said:

Yea sure, Sleepy “Woke” Joe doesn’t have a platform. In fact, he has no policy platforms to speak of and hasn’t said boo about them.EarlWelsh said:

Well, I believe Sanders won the Independent vote in 13 of those states but I could be wrong. Obviously they didn’t represent a large enough portion of the turnout. Those votes are super important in the general and Sanders has them.mickeyrat said:EarlWelsh said:

There was no need to vote gop since Dipshit is the only one running after IA and NH....._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

Yea, a former democratic VP and senator wouldn’t be able to work with a dem controlled house and maybe senate to get his legislation passed versus a socialist Indy claiming to be a dem’s pie in the sky, total reordering of the American economy to the tune of trillions legislation. Sounds about right.EarlWelsh said:

Since going back in time isn't an option, where things stand today, Sanders may as well be considered the spiritual leader of the left-wing cohort of the Democratic party. If he stays in the race for a little longer (say, a debate longer), maybe he can convince some of his voting base to pivot to Biden who otherwise would've spoiled their ballots. Or, maybe behind closed doors, Biden and Sanders are discussing what Sanders would like him to include in his policies moving forward, in exchange for an authentic endorsement. I know these are entirely unprovable theories, but Sanders is unlikely to have more leverage in his career than he does just today in terms of influencing Biden's policies. I can't imagine he'd want to waste that.CM189191 said:This cannabilistic conversation is exactly why Bernie needs to drop out ASAP and should have never ran.
