I don’t think it’s just a party line. That man is losing it. He really is. It’s sad watching him try to talk sometimes. A day or two ago he said he wants to bring us back to the “Obiden/Bama” years. Who said I haven’t analyzed Sleepy “Woke” Joe independent of Team Trump Treason? Because I don’t believe your analysis that he’s “lost it?” Why can’t you define “lost it?” Is it speech/word jumbled or outlandish plans for the economy like free tuition or M4A that joe advocates for that make you think he’s “lost it?” What did he lose? Seemed to find a Super Tuesday, now didn’t he? Seems to be running a smart and efficient campaign, now isn’t he? Has policies much like Obama/Biden did re: energy, climate change, foreign & trade policy. Also, seems to know the qualifications required to hold senior positions in his administration. Yea, but he’s “lost it.” What is the “it?”Ledbetterman10 said:
So you refuse to just judge Joe on his own as I asked. Typical. In a vaccum, independent of Trump and everything else, just look at the guy. It's sad to watch. Ummmmm, who’s the repub nominee likely to be in 2020? Given the choice I think it’s going to be, Sleepy “Woke” Joe is the better choice. Nor has he “lost it” like you’d like to claim but even if he does or did “lose it,” he’d be the better choice.Ledbetterman10 said:

Oh my god lock him up but let’s give that nuking a hurricane a try? Never been done before and you don’t know until you try.Ledbetterman10 said:

I would admit it. Believe it or not, you can make fun or even insult Joe Biden, and like him enough to vote for him. Not all of us are on one side or the other like you. To speak ill of Biden (or Sanders, Warren, Pete, whoever) isn't an endorsement of Trump.

Well, in my book he’s cognitively capable to be POTUS and will fix the train wreck that is the current administration. And I expect him to select a much younger VP and only serve four years. To be honest, he could sleep all four of those years and we’d still be better off than we have been for the past 3 1/2. Because there will be other capable and competent people serving the American people and not a despot.Ledbetterman10 said:

Fine that's fair enough. Let him sleep through his (possible) term as president. But I want to address your edit when you said "if you’re going to vote Team Trump Treason, just admit it."Halifax2TheMax said:
Well, in my book he’s cognitively capable to be POTUS and will fix the train wreck that is the current administration. And I expect him to select a much younger VP and only serve four years. To be honest, he could sleep all four of those years and we’d still be better off than we have been for the past 3 1/2. Because there will be other capable and competent people serving the American people and not a despot.Ledbetterman10 said:

I would admit it. Believe it or not, you can make fun or even insult Joe Biden, and like him enough to vote for him for president. Not all of us are on one side or the other like you. To speak ill of Biden (or Sanders, Warren, Pete, whoever) isn't an endorsement of Trump. I know you can't grasp that because you'rer so entrenched on one side.

We weren't even talking about the election (though I understand the overall thread is about the election). Halifax suggested to call out Biden for going senile is a Fox News talking point. I responded that I think there's something to that claim that old-age might be getting the best of Biden. So I don't see a need for a comparison to Trump there. We all know he's a sociopath. So yes, I do think there's more "wrong" with Trump than Biden...by a mile. But that doesn't change my view that Biden's going senile and Fox News is right to pounce on that.mrussel1 said:

Comparing Biden to Team Trump Treason is a great argument for Biden to anyone living in reality. Talk about how far some have fallen.

Biden's medical records are out there. From late last year. You can go look at them. That's directly refuting your argument. Biden was seen by a medical professional and deemed in excellent health.Spiritual_Chaos said:
A straw man (or strawman) is a form of argument and an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent. Do you think the difference is his speech impediment?
He is 77 years old.
Where are Trump's medical records? Let's see them.
And the tax returns?
He is 77. Ofc he's gonna be slower and he is gonna misplace his car keys.
Maybe his medical records says "He is a miracle wonder being as sharp as a 25 year old". But not gonna look it up."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -
