If people don't want to give it a chance, they don't have to. Their choice.benjs said:
There's a thought in business that the way to stand out and secure the attention of the people around you isn't actually to talk more (where people will start to perceive arrogance and ego and question the authenticity of what you're saying), but to actually talk less so that you are only spending energy to share if you have something worth sharing. If you'd stop with GIFs referencing 20-year-old video games on political topics, maybe you'd have enough credibility remaining that when you have something substantial to share, people give it a chance?Spiritual_Chaos said:

How many bills has Mayor "Kill your baby" Bloomberg passed?

And really, that's how it should be. There's that much at stake. I hope Bloomberg goes by the waste-side after tomorrow (Liz surly will) and it's down to Biden and Sanders. Biden as the old guard of the Democratic Party versus......well Sanders is old himself....we'll call it a "different" guard of the Democratic Party.dignin said:Thanks for the Amy responses. Guess it's all moot now that she's out.
Seems like were heading toward a moderate/progressive showdown within the democratic power. A true battle for the soul of the party.

You are correct about it being readers' choices. I just would've thought someone as impassioned and concerned as you are, your effectiveness might be something that mattered to you, but apparently advancing your causes takes second place to being arrogant.Spiritual_Chaos said:

My point is: talking about bills passed is as narrow as reducing a vote for someone else than Bernie as solely a vote on M4A. It is pointless.mickeyrat said:Spiritual_Chaos said:

How many bills has Mayor "Kill your baby" Bloomberg passed?given he was a mayor , i.e. executive branch, and not a legislator, I am going with none. He only signed or didnt sign legislation into law.....I would expect he put forth ideas that the council took up.....so whats your point?

And regarding him and bills:
Seems to be a guy with character, and who doesn't throw staplers at people. What term did Pete steal from Obama for a speech.. "beacon of light" ? Maybe that is what he is.
Bernie the deadbeat dad
Bernie the deadbeat legislator

Why does everyone think the politicians they don't like are going to jail? I know Trump supporters who are convinced that Clinton, Obama, Holder, etc. are going to get dragged away in cuffs any day now.CM189191 said:0 -
