Should Pearl Jam presell tour posters online?
The Rolling Stones sell their individual show posters online starting the day of the show. I think this would be a great option and compelling benefit for Ten Club members. What say you?

I like a limited run of posters being sold onsite. Makes the poster special, also I love lines

If they keep them limited, at least return to just selling them in the venue.Pittsburgh 2013

I think they should offer the chance to pre-order the poster / sticker to anyone who wins 10c tix. It would be a blind buy, but I would do it in a heartbeat. I've had some fun times in merch lines, but that time could be spent otherwise.2003 Spectrum, Camden 2, Holmdel 2004 Reading, PA 2005 Philly 2006 Hartford, Camden 1&2, E. They should do it blind, they can fulfill the fan club orders plus have a show day run. Many people want the poster to the show they go to, regardless of what it looks like. This runs into a snag when there are multiple posters for a ballpark run of shows0

It probably makes more business sense to sell posters at the venue since you might buy a t-shirt or some other items after having waited in line.0

Yup, but it still sucks to have to waste the whole day hoping that they won't run out right before you get to the front.

They’ve done a blind pre-order in the past for the Backspacer tour. I took advantage of it for SF and the LA show I had tickets for. Wonder what the reasoning was for not bringing it back after 2009.

Have it as an option to buy the poster when you enter for tickets- the same way they had an option for commemorative ticket stubs this year.2000 - Toronto

It would be awesome if they did. They did do it in '09 but I think they said it was a lot of work to ship all those posters so they stopped doing it. One of the drawbacks of being a smaller in house operation.

I think they can easily ask every member that purchased tickets if they’d like 1 or 2 posters for that show and just mail em out after. It’s a lot of work but they also make $x more money overall. Because some of y’all would still buy more at the show. That would also eliminate some of the bitching about people not getting a poster to a show they attended because other members bought as many as possible to either sell to members not at the show (weird) or sell on eBay. I couldn’t think of anything more odd than framing a poster of a show I was NOT at and having a guest ask about said show and I go, “yeah, it was amazing.....I only heard it on a bootleg”

I think the issue.. is say they got something like 3000 poster orders per show. There's 20 shows. All of a sudden they have to mail out 60,000 posters. I don't think they're scaled up to do that. I think they run their own warehouse and use their own staff so anytime they would have to mail out a shit tonne of things it probably becomes an issue.

If we won reserved, GA, or best of tickets during the lottery, would be nice to be able to purchase one poster ahead of time.

Trieste 2014 a few hours before show time - basically no line
--------------------------------
Now compare that to 2016 Ft Lauderdale - 6 hours before doors open
Below... Wrigley 16... people on the left are not going into stadium.. they are in merch line..
Denver 14 - 4 hours before doors open - line wrapped around arena.
