I would. I don't think it's wise to allow more evil into power than one has to, and when the risk is as great to the nation as a whole (and really the world based on existing global power dynamics), the realities are as ugly as they are, and the division is this great - I don't believe a protest vote to make reforms to the political structure would have enough odds of success to justify that risk. Out of curiosity, what moral inconsistency are you trying to catch people in the act on with this one?ecdanc said:A thought experiment: imagine the election was Trump v. Pete / Amy and you have a deal. I believe the undecideds will loom HUGE this election and I think the debates will shape many opinions. I think Pete and Amy the only two candidates that could go toe to toe in a debate with the Orange Anus. Anyone other than one of these two, and the dems are absolutely screwed. They may very well be screwed anyhow.mcgruff10 said:The more I read about Amy the more I like her. I don’t think the time is now for Pete but I think he would be a great vp candidate. I'll bet she knows it now, LOL. But you cannot base total overall experience on one isolated example. To do so would not be logical.

Of all the banal things you could pick, forgetting a person's name (yes, even for a foreign leader) is exactly the sort of top-grade bullshit that shouldn't have any bearing in determining who the next POTUS is. After debates, a POTUS reserves the right to set the context of what they choose to talk about, when, how, and they have the option of a script if they're giving press briefings (remember those?).Spiritual_Chaos said:

Some fear a President who doesn't know the Mexican President's name by heart. Others fear a President whose unwillingness to compromise, and whose policies are opposed by a majority of Senators, lead to no positive change being created. I find it a bit weird when you come on here and attempt to 'educate' with out-of-context short video clips and sarcastic Twitter comments, when you double-down on criticisms about non-Bernie candidates and deflect or trivialize on criticisms about him, and when you suggest I'm going 'all crazy' like you haven't been doing this for over a year. Isn't the world magical, how we can look at the same happening and have gotten such different perspectives out of it?Spiritual_Chaos said:

And, get some more Social Democrats/Democratic socialists/levelheaded people elected into the senate and the house and you don't have to worry so much.

What does this question even measure their understanding about? Who cares if they don’t know the name? However I would be worried if they had no answer about border security or trade with Mexico.Spiritual_Chaos said:
