Scary to think that so many americans live their lives devoid of joy because they live a life based on fear, hate, ignorance, jealousy, and lies.OnWis97 said:Yup. Trump's going to win. Huge.
The United States of America exists in the Image of Donald J. Trump. And it always will.

2018Like I’ve stated the precious Constitution has been trampled by this administration & president it was never gonna be any other way he was acquitted three weeks ago , So now the Democrats have gotten beaten at every turn next week they will all be applauding the Baffoon when he delivers the SOTU speech ..he can get away with anything he so desires , shooting, Raping , assaulting, verbally assaulting his rivals! This country loves a corrupt winner because all that matters is winning no matter what it takes ...jesus greets me looks just like me ....0

The dems ought to wait until Team Trump Treason begins speaking at the SOTU, stand up, turn their backs, pause and quietly walk out. Maybe flip him off over their shoulder on the way out.josevolution said:Like I’ve stated the precious Constitution has been trampled by this administration & president it was never gonna be any other way he was acquitted three weeks ago , So now the Democrats have gotten beaten at every turn next week they will all be applauding the Baffoon when he delivers the SOTU speech ..he can get away with anything he so desires , shooting, Raping , assaulting, verbally assaulting his rivals! Y'all way too negative. The argument that Trump supporters are going to come out now makes no sense. They were coming either way. The key is to look at the independent numbers. It doesn't matter how mad you are.0

If you think this doesn't have repercussions for all future elections, candidates and office holders, and that by "playing by the rues" you'll win, whether in elections or passing/implementing policy, or avoiding corruption, I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken. I look forward to a dem POTUS asking a foreign leader to dig up dirt on a repub candidate, withholding congressional aid to said foreign leader, maybe accepting a bribe here and there, and then claiming he can't be investigated, stonewalling the congressional investigation and then pointing to Team Trump Treason while the repubs scream bloody murder. They have irrevocably harmed our democracy. Have you seen the repub congress? Once in a life time? Team Trump Treason has opened the door for every scum bag to stick their chest out, take off their cloak and lie, cheat and steal their way to power. "The POTUS cannot be investigated." CYA Barr. Why shouldn't that now apply to everyone who runs for office? Why shouldn't I be able to rob a bank when I'm unemployed because I think its in the best interest of the American people for me not to go on welfare and a fair trial on my behalf consists of no witnesses nor any documentary evidence like finger prints or video camera coverage? Why is the POTUS above the law and I'm not? Someone should try it as a defense and see where it goes.mrussel1 said:

Me, too. I had my doubts based on past words vs actions. Collins as well. I'm disappointed in Murkowski and her bullshit excuse. But the worst for me was Lamar Alexander. A guy with nothing to lose politically. Someone who has admitted that Trump's actions were improper. "The question then is not whether the president did it, but whether the United States Senate or the American people should decide what to do about what he did." He apparently forgot about the role of Congress outlined in the Constitution. At least McConnell and Graham have been slimy shitbags throughout the entire process so no surprises there. But people like Alexander and Murkowski know that Trump violated his oath of office, acknowledge it, and then abdicate responsibility.mrussel1 said:I appreciate that Romney voted his conscious."I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please."
