Also U2 back in the 80s...I totally miss the old days of filling out the form in Propaganda mag, mailing in $13.50 per ticket and getting seats in the NY market in the first 15 rows. Glory days for sure.CantKeepmedown said:
Pearl Jam literally did this back in the 90's. People nowadays just want to be spoon fed everything and put not effort into figuring out how things work. Some of the questions/comments here and other places are mind boggling.ryanphishes said:
You're all lucky you didn't have to mail order Phish tickets in the 90s and buy postal money orders for each show, a separate one for shipping, and really follow all the simple directions, or they put your envelope in the back of the pile.tdawe said:
Yup. This whole last week+ has been a real eye opener in terms of the baseline literacy level in this country.JP218404 said:Reading through this people are gonna buy tickets that they can do shit with thinking they can trade them.Post edited by Sue on0 -
Thanks Mickey. I'm at the Baltimore page now.MickeyMouse said:
The link is just the landing page for whatever show you’re trying to get tickets to. You could go there right now.incidental immortality said:So the link comes as a text? Is that correct? Do people recommend clicking the link to load it on your phone? I'm at work so it will be easier for me to bring it up on my laptop.

Yes. The code will only work for the email tied to the TM account used to apply for the code.100 Pacer said:Are codes tied to specific emails? I’ve heard back from some people that mentioned receiving codes but passing them on - would hate for tickets to be cancelled after the fact.0 -

Not sure if this has been answered already but here's my question for anyone that's used this process recently. My friend got in through the 10 Club presale and I'm going with them. I got rejected but did get a TM presale code. I have another friend that needs a pair so would I be able to put in their phone number to get the text for the tickets themselves or is it strictly tied to whatever TM account is used to purchase tickets?0

On the TM site it says you can have hard copy tickets printed out the day of the show. How would they track what is done with those tickets? Are they going to ID people on the way in?mdk0

It’s still your account. The code is in your email, and tied to your account. You cannot give it to someone else. Change your phone number to whatever you want, your friend still needs your account to use your code.aspoonfulweighsaton said:

Any clarification on how it will work if you got 10c tickets and want to purchase 2 tickets for the other people in my party? FYI, this for Quebec city not a hot destination.9/20/05 - Quebec City
9/22/05 - Halifax
6/19/08 - Camden
6/28/08 - Mansfield
9/07/11 - Montreal

I have no idea if this VF presale will be different but the VF presales I have done in the past codes for one city could be used for any city and they weren’t tied to TM account except for Bruce Springsteen Broadway shows which codes were tied to TM accounts. This could be the same as Springsteen I have no idea. Just giving my experience in the past. Good luck to everyone.0
