  • Here's Your Explanation Explained...

PRESALE  RULES - "Ticket Requests will be confirmed for each show taking your priority into consideration, but it is not guaranteed you will get your first priority."

    Key words.... into consideration.

btw, when do fan club tickets go on sale?  =)
Just stop with all this is rules language.  “... taking your priority into consideration, but it is not guaranteed...” What a bunch of nonsense!!!

Im a longtime dues paying member of this club,  I shouldnt have to be able to comprehend reading at a third grade level in order to get tickets to a concert. What a load of trash.
Trust me son, I've been a fan and dues paying member a lot longer than you. And I have zero complaints about the lottery process. My post above regarding Presale Rules was meant to inform and educate those who didn't read the rules!
But if you (jerparker20) feel so entitled that you "shouldnt have to be able to comprehend reading at a third grade level in order to get tickets to a concert", well then i wish you good luck in life. Reading instructions and following directions is always beneficial for success. And I'll assume all those second graders' must have snagged your tickets...   ;)
    Thank you Mike!!!

  • Frustrated. Picked nyc... dream location. Denver, nice location.  Okc.  Easy drive and sure I would get those. Denied all three. I know seniority means nothing so that isn’t my gripe.  But how some fans  can get multiples and how I can get denied everything makes no sense. So disappointed.

"This also means that Ten Club seating includes seats farther back in the venue than in the past."

Not sure if this should be its own thread but...

What happens if/when the BA seat locations end up being in the back or the 2-300 levels instead of GA or in the first half of the lower level?

There's going to be a lot of pissed off people I assume...

This is why outdoor venues and others that aren't exclusively contracted with TM should be played instead of the usual arena stops-to avoid this TM sh*t

For instance, Red Rocks is an AXS venue, yet the Denver show is being played at the TM arena; why not just cut these venues as much as possible so that TM doesn't control as much of the 10c ticketing process?

If people DID NOT see this during the process I will weep not for them.  I am skeptical of where these tickets will all end up, but it was clear that reserved seats were not all going to be as close as possible.   In theory this is where long time members should be getting a pay off, which will also cause a panic by people who reupped or joined on January 12th.

When the reserved seating allotment is 10,000 seats vs 5,000 that means more people will get seats.Do the math and peopl will not be getting "good" seats. Doesn't mean better seats . Just means more seats available in 10club presale.
Doesn't mean people with the lowest seniority numbers get worse seats.
Means there are 5,000 more seats available to 10club members.

Imagine if PJ were to play 1 show or 10 at Red Rocks (9.200 cap). Now look at the shitstorm on here oer the last week regarding tickets, ticketing process, lottery, lottery process,  priority,  etc.
Now imagine the shitstorm before/after the 10club Red Rocks presale.

Well, I don't have it ALL figured out, just yet.  My theory doesn't meet with much acceptance here but I kimd of think so.

Even if not, still just one hat, they do the GA first priority only and BA together until all GA tix are gone. For the GA only 1st priority  requests remaining, they lost and are discarded. The BA remaining go into the Res hat with the others to get drawn or shut out.

    waddya think?
10000 people put in for tickets. Tenclub allots 500 for GA and 4000 for reserved. They start the drawing. Joe Smiths name is picked. His request is BA. He goes into GA. Sally Jones is picked next. She wants reserved so she gets reserved seats. Mark Davis is third person picked. He wanted GA so he goes into GA section. They keep drawing names at random until both GA and reserved are filled. Whether you choose BA or reserved does not help or hurt chances. You pick GA only, obviously that hurts your chances by a lot. Picking GA only makes sense for only a very few people in my opinion..
Why does Joe Smith go first? Sally had higher seniority.
And who knew the Raiders' owner was a 10 clubber?

So, hypothetically, if there were 500 GA tickets available and 500 people put in for GA only and 1000 put in for BA, it is plausable (but not likely) that if someone selected GA, they could be completely shut out? In this single hat scenario, Best available could plausibly be only one drawn or not drawn at all, correct? Meaning no GA gets selected because all were BA or other way around

Choosing GA had no greater or lesser chance of being selected than BA.

That is not necessarily true.If you choose GA, GA is going to fill up MUCH earlier than Reserved. If you wanted GA for Nashville and ONLY GA for Nashville, you had a roughly 25% chance of getting tickets where is you put BA or Reserved, you were basically guaranteed tickets. This scenario is for first choice for hypothetical

Can't wait until the seats are assigned and we can enjoy more threads full of negativity.  Oh and then the dynamic pricing.  And the public onsales that will be a joke. Get your $500 ready because that is about what it will cost to get a decent seat at MSG.

Can someone who selected BA answer this question for me?

If you checked BA, did it automatically check both boxes for GA and Res?

If it did would this not be the same as 1st priority GA 2nd priority Res?

i don’t know, I selected Res, but I would like to know the answer because if I have equal shot at Res with BA plus the bonus of possible GA without lowering my Res odds, I would choose BA on next lottery.

Does that make sense, or does anyone know the answer?

Yes. I went with BA because I figured it would work the way you describe.

  • You have to figure if there are 20,000 seats 1000 ga Available. And you put GA only.  you are missing out a 19,000 seats, you got a put best available and hope for the best.  just being inside as what we want. I’m sorry that you did not get tickets. But the 10 ticket distribution Is pretty much the best thing for any musical act. Plus you have to make sure you have enough credit on your credit card which I’m sure you do but that’s another option that could have people not to get tickets

All 20,000 seats are not earmarked for 10 club tickets, not even close.
Presumably more this year than other tours, but still far from all the seats.

    My entries were like this:

I managed to get in on both venues. They processed Hamilton entries before Toronto, so I received an email confirming a Hamilton ticket before receiving the one for Toronto.

I entered a few minutes after they emailed me my 10c code but that should have no bearing on my success.

Me requesting single tickets and Best Available probably helped, though. I have a feeling asking for GA would have given me no success although I did ask for GA or seated in 2016 and lost out on both.

Who knows where I’ll end up at either venue. I may get floor for both, or seated for both, or floor at one, seated at the other.

Also, after going through the process of making my picks and submitting my payment info I never went back in to change anything or look at the current odds. I did everything once and let it sit.
