I’m staying at the holiday inn Ottawa west, which shows it’s 10 minutes from the CTC

If you're spending some time in OTT then downtown is the way to go. If you're just in and out for the show the I would say to stay out by the arena.

In. Cheaped out with the Days Inn near Byward. Will probably do the 2ish PM train to Quebec on Saturday. Happy to pre/post party and split some cabs/ubers if others are around.

Im doing Quebec show solo. I’m driving from Ottawa to Quebec on Saturday after Ottawa show. If anyone needed a ride let me know. On the Saturday though I’m staying in Trois-Rivières a couple hours outside of Quebec for the night in a private room at The HI there and then into Quebec on The Sunday where I’m staying at The Hotel Le Voyageur. In Ottawa I’m staying close to the arena at The Brooktrout residence in Kanata @ 2 Maricona Way.

Decided to take our electric car Chevy Bolt from Toronto->Ottawa->Quebec City->Toronto. Will be interesting but PlugShare app makes it easy... and help save the glaciers from melting 😉

For a 6+ hour ride... open bar alone is worth over the $30 difference. Throw in a proper meal and improved seating? No brainer

In for OTT with my PJ tour crew of 3. We each got a pair of best available and we want to arrange for 3 GA if possible. Will see what Best Available gets us and go from there but will most likely have a spare ticket or two either way. If someone has a spare GA maybe one of us can be ticket buddies and we can then get a couple people in on our reserved tickets (assuming we will get a couple at least) for those that missed lottery. Yep for Ottawa. Have to wait 'til 1/27 to know whether GA or Reserved (single ticket). Doesn't matter to me which type.

For those taking the Via Train to QC after Ottawa. There is a 10:15am or a 2pm train.
Ottawa > Quebec City = 6 hours from what I understand....

Not sure this is 100% true (but still good advice). Economy generally allows a big carry on bag (up to 50lbs, not an airline carry on bag) + personal item, and you can generally buy drinks.
