But of course trump is worse so none of that matters.
It makes perfect sense that a state that has a population of 1 million has the same power in the senate as a state with the population as 40 million.
Bicameral legislature - one representative (the House), and one equal by State (Senate) to ensure a single state does not have an overwhelming influence. It's a very good check and balance within the legislature. If you make the Senate representative, you might as well abolish it.
I won't go into the reasons why this is genius (And it has nothing to do with the fact that Republicans control the Senate as that hasn't always been the case). But, it is.
we have a president that has committed crimes and we cannot hold him responsible or punish him. we do not have republic or a democracy. we have the beginning of a monarchy.
Bear in mind, the reason that this isn't deemed a constitutional crisis at this point is because there is a due process which is being pursued as we speak. That's impeachment followed by the subsequent vote by the Senate. If and when it fails there, then it's a visible failure.0 -

you come across as a butthurt craybaby.
If and when it fails there, then it's a visible failure.
Sorry Mick, you're wrong.

we are nowhere near a civil war here, but if trump walks from this, the country will take a generation to recover."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

for one, the impeachment process shouldn't be handled by congress. it's a partisan joke. i know it's not a legal proceeding, so it can't be handled by the courts. but maybe an independent body that doesn't pander to the president or their constituents with the choices they make.By The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0

we're selling it wrong. Trump can be the singular stand alone in his field of president removed from office via impeachment conviction. He would be NUMBER 1......... Forever......._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________
